Thanks to all for the advise. We aren't bringing a car seat with us. We got this new approved thing that he will actually stay seated with in our tests at home with it. Hopefully it works with the seats on USAir.

Breighton is a super trooper usually for travel. He has survived many long road trips (5+ hours) with only diaper change stops.
We have a box we started about 4 months ago with new toys, books, stickers, playdoh and all sorts of fun things for him. He helps us put things "for the cruise" in the box and gets excited about it. Plus we are bringing the laptop full of DVDs and games, we also have the airline power adapter so no worry on batteries. YIPPIE!
We have been talking about airplanes a lot lately...and the "hi i am almost two so now i LOVE trains"...
His favorite (two) pair of jammies will be in the carry on as well as a few Lumpys (he is 19 we have to par down for the trip...he won't be happy with that).
We plan to bring his sippy, a juice box, organic sugar free lollipops (pomagranite is his fav!!!), and misc other low sugar snacks.
TIA recently opened play areas in the terminals and I HOPE they have one at the USAir terminal.
We planned our flights around his normal sleep times and he is great about when it is sleep time to actually go to sleep. No matter where he is.
We know just to grin and bear it. After all it isn't like we will be getting on a boat with the same people for 11 days...right???
Okay, i think i might go sew... maybe... .hmmm... i need motivation!
