Hello Gang! I'm just catching up. We're pretty busy getting ready for our move.

We're really looking forward to this cruise. All shore excursions and Palo reservations are booked. We're just about set.

Sue, Do you recommend buying the Barcelona tourist bus tickets ahead of time online?

Jennifer, Thanks for the bracelets. They're great!

We look forward to meeting everyone!

Kathy

Kathy,
Does your husband still want to dive?
I wasn't sure if he did or didn't want to at this point....

Thanks,
Celeste

I'm really bummed....

I am going to be in the Orlando area on April 28th- but I won't be able to attend the BBQ!!!

I am going to be sitting in a lovey conference at the Gaylord Palm until 4 or 5pm. :sad2:

I will actually be in town until May 6th.

I would like to go down to the Crystal River area and go diving on the 29th, if anyone wants to go with me. I am also going to try and go diving sometime on May 3, 4, or 5th.

Anyone doing the Minnie on the 6th?

We might still be going strong at 4 pm so don't count us out just yet. Besides they always have the conferences sessions on DVD. Wink Wink Nudge Nudge.

The party ends when the last person leaves or we go to bed.

Note: from the Gaylord we are only 20 minutes east on 417. I like that hotel.

I wish I was staying at that hotel...but alas I will be staying with my sister in Windermere. Hey, you can't balk at free. I will also get to see my new niece that is due to be born next Monday. :goodvibes

Maybe I will call when I am done and see where you guys are at. I would skip the class, but it is the test review for the national certification in my speciality and I paid an extra $400 for that one day.

Welcome to another day closer to cruising...

Hey T- you should look at putting together a group rate for the September 2008 cruise. :rolleyes1

Rates appear to be at first day pricing still. :rotfl:

Why, we only have 68 or so cabins, so far.

And I dont think the one we have, would be included in the Group! ;)

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know when DCL MIGHT be upgrading cabins for this cruise? We've never been upgraded. I can dream can't I?

Jeisur, can't wait to see the little guy in a togo.

Anyone packing yet? I looked at the suitcases, but decided to wait until after Easter.

We're off to the DH's family for Easter. What's everyone else doing for the weekend?

Pocono

Hi Everyone -

We just booked this cruise! We are a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 6). I was looking for information on which tours everyone has booked.

Thanks so much!

Welcome aboard rmkd! - you may want to start by reviewing the first post on page 55 of this thread and get on the cruise list.

Thanks! I saw the information on page 55, but still cannot seem to locate the specfic tour information. Thanks!!

Your site is really awesome. I already checked it out and registered. I am torn with deciding which ports to bring the girls (ages 4 and 6) and then whether to book a driver or just do it on our own. We are comfortable doing the tours on our own, but not sure with the kids...

:goodvibes

Speaking of Italian tapes, I have been playing one in my car for the past few weeks. It is a treasure trove of completely useless phrases. My personal favorites are "Is my guide dog allowed in here?"" and "Can I take this if I am breast-feeding". Nowhere on the tape do they tell me how to say "big" or "small" or any of the colors.......words I think I would use alot more than lactating!

:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The tapes I have offer a section on dating -

"You are wonderful, you are beautiful, hug me, kiss me" - NOT the stuff I need for touring. I was laughing as I drove down the street listening to that one. :lmao:

Let's trade......your tape might come in handy if I meet a nice sexy Italian guy!

If you are looking for exceptional language lessons try:

Rosetta Stone http://www.rosettastone.com

They teach what you NEED to know for travel. We used them a few years back for both French and Italian and they were FANTASTIC! :)

Hmmmm... i guess it may be important to know.... they DONT teach about lactating or dating.... sorry!

Also Fodors is VERY very very FREE! :) At least for some basics! ;)

Hi everyone,

I try to read this thread along with some others here and there. We are on the July 28th cruise.

I can't seem to decide on an excursion for Obia.

Has anyone here booked any private ones at this port? Is anyone planning on doing a beach stay on their own by grabbing a cab?

Not sure if one beach excursion is worth $60 over the one -

Thanks everyone.

Also - looking forward to lots and lots of reports/feedback from you guys :goodvibes

Well the Folk's on the repo, have been receiving room #'s and upgrades. :rotfl:
I thought I saw a posting of yours on the med excursion thread that mentioned plans for several members on this cruise planning on "do it yourself" tours in many ports. If so, can you post the information? Perhaps, we can join the adventure!!

Thanks!
