May 26, 2007 (5/26/07) "First Magical Med Cruise!!" (The M&M's!)

We will be getting the train to Rome and doing our own thing. Rome is a fairly compact city, with a lot of the sites near to each other. From memory it costs $100 (roughly 74 Euros) per person just to get to Rome and then do your own thing, if you took the cruise excursion. We think the return jouney by train will be in the region of 10 Euros each.

When we were last there we never got to see the Cistine Chapel because on the day we set aside to visit, it was closed. The Vatican was an amazing place to visit though and it just gave us more time to explore there. We hope to get to see it this time though.

We have a bunch of us that are going to take the train!

I am I doing something wrong when I am looking at the available shore excursions, the only one available is the Evening Casino and Barcelona. I have mine booked but was thinking of making some adjustments. Can this be possible?

They only show available stuff that doesn't conflict with what you have.

If you want to see alternatives that conflict, you have to cancel.

I suspect that you'd be better off calling.

Char's on vacation and I'm in charge.

I've told the cats to do laundry and they all took off for the laundry room.

If they do a good job, I'm going to have them do the windows and then we'll have tuna for lunch.

I'm not sure the cruise is that full. One of my coworker said he is joining the cruise via his brother-in-law travel agent for a rediculously low price. Alex

This cruise is pretty full. It is true that they are having travel agent rates on the cruise, but the cruise is still pretty full. The repo is another story.

QUESTION1: For those of you that have done back to backs , how hard is it to change rooms from one cruise to another? Do we have to get off and re-check in Barcelona?

QUESTION B:In Naples, We really want to do the amalfi drive but not on a big ole bus.
Any of you getting a private tour guide that has room for 3 more?
maybe the price youre oaying would come down with more people.
