Well, CCI just called and they had a cancellation and I now don't have to move rooms so looks like I will remain a GCH virgin...

Honestly, I would rather save the money for other trips (I will be back again in January, April and June)...and it just means more Loungefly bags ! YAY!

I know how much you all love it and I am sure it is spectacular but for me, I love my CCI.

That's awesome! I'm so glad they could get you the room. I booked the Grand but I actually keep thinking about how great Candy Cane Inn is, plus you can't beat the breakfast delivery in the premium rooms. It's tempting to stay there!

I've been trying to think of a good winter outfit. Not sure if I want something Disneyish or just dapper. The only combination I can think of for both would be something like Belle's Christmas ensemble. Or maybe I could bound as Miss Piggy in A Muppet Christmas Carol

Would I need a sweater in November? I used to live in Santa Monica but it's been ages since I've been to CA in the fall and I just can't remember. I've been looking for a cute shrug to match my outfit but don't know if I should get short or long sleeves.

I'm still on the fence. I did put in a couple waitlists for DVC rooms for that weekend. If one of those comes through, it'll definitely push the needle towards going.

If you only consider the corresponding annual dues, then yes. It'll be approximately $240. We get free parking and there's no transient tax at the Grand DVC. If my wait-list for Disneyland hotel comes through, I'll still have to pay transient tax, but parking will be free.

Well, I got my park rezzies for Sat.and Dapper Day...but I'm now out of days LOL. I couldn't figure it out for a minute or two until it dawned on me I had six days booked! What a goofball I am....will have to wait until i get there next month and use my days to free up more...I think this is kinda a dumb rule Disney!

Meanwhile, I am making a MickeyChristmas skirt to wear on Monday...I was just going to do my usual Christmas SJ and jeans but I am so into dressing up now...

Its a vintage fabric I have had for awhile...kinda a French terry, so its heavier, like a light sweatshirt. Just a gathered skirt, red long sleeve top, black belt and my Santa Mickey backpack and ears. I'm looking for a white fur collar or capelet too, to polish it off. Santa Mickey earrings, of course!
