This is the order I would do them in once onboard (you may be able to do the kids club stuff before you board in which case that would be first).

Palo Reservations
If cabins are ready, I would go there second to get rid of the carry ons
If not, lunch or bar
Nursery
Kids Club

The kids are already registered so no need to rush to those. If you go to Parrot Cay for lunch you'll pass Promenade Lounge (if we come in forward) or it will be close if we come in aft. If you go to Topsiders for lunch, go out by the Mickey pool. At the base of the funnel (under the slide) is another bar. Got you started on two locations!!

No go...all flights are sold out. I am going to try and see if I can get Iberia to let me flight stand by on your flight if I get in on time, but they usually don't allow stand by for international flights- but as I am not checking luggage, they MIGHT allow it. I am going to use my foot to my full advantage- might as well make this positive some way.

Thanks for the photo comment. I am the shortest one, have the black and green sarong on. That was an "escape from school last minute cruise!" I was teaching Kindergarten at the time, and the others were our librarian, 5th grade teacher and SLD teacher. Cori (black & white coverup) is going on this cruise, and my other best friend Andrea who is not pictured is going with us! Three girls loose in the Med! If I recall Rita, I believe you are on our flight from Atlanta?

I know it won't help you now, but perhaps on the way home, (shudder to think about that yet ) but we have a luggage scale that we will be bringing....we are in 6631. Raleigh and Mari.

This is the last advice question honestly before everyone leaves the board for the live report.

Once onboard I have a list of things we need to do. I know there will be loads of people doing the same stuff but any advice on what to do first.

Collect pagers and check kids in at kids club
Double check nursery bookings and iron out some issues (i have an excursion that ends after the nursery)
Palo reservations ( i was too late to do them online)
Checkout where our stateroom is and get our bearings as to where everything is onboard
Find out where the bars are
Have lunch

My order preference is:
1. Palo
2. Room (if ready) - check dinning rotation & time - switch if needed
3. Lunch (switch with 2 if rooms not ready)
4. get bearings and hit a bar (which to me is - order wine package and get dad the beer package)
5. Tour the ship - hitting the kids area & nursery - making sure everything is in order

I'M ALL PACKED!!!

The suitcases are all within weight limits (thankfully). At this point I could care less. I'd pay the extra $100 if I had too.

It's time for a bite of food, shower, drop off the cats, pick up the kid and limo ride!

You have been calling my home phone number. I have never text messaged (though ScottH has sent me some and I can read them LOL). I don't have a GSM phone so I don't know that it will work.

I am really getting excited I talked to someone at DCL today about the stuff going on for our cruise and it is just exciting talking about it!

Can't wait to see the new KTTW cards!!

How do you get so lucky to speak with someone who is willing to share information with you. I called yesterday and got someone who was not that great. No personality - just the facts - no chit chat.

Anything else you want to share other than the new KTTW cards?

As you can see I am not being very productive at work today... I really need to work. I am hoping to sneak out and grab some Euros at the bank this afternoon. They are down to 1 Euro = 1.34 USD. This down a good $0.02.

I have to admit the only time in the past I iron is when we are cruising. I iron Bill's dress shirts, my dresses, etc. (only the dressy stuff), but not this time! Brought the Downy wrinkle releaser! Good enough!

OMG!!! I was just looking at the guest list and I left my DH out, I am the only one showing in my cabin. I think that Jen was the one updating the list, so, I'm not going to bother her at this point. I am bringing him, he's the one with that owns the credit cards that I plan to use . Just in case, we are in #1050 Camille (age unknown ) and Orval (40). We are leaving today and spending the night at a JFK hotel. We are leaving DH's tuxedo behind, we are also doing the semi-formal formal night. My bags are overpacked and we are heading out, so excited. See you guys on Friday!!!

We are staying at the Montecarlo, anyone else staying there?

BTW those of you who were wondering about cell phone charges on the ship - I have cingular - now AT&T - they told me if I use the cruise ship tower to place/recieve calls - it will cost me $2.49/minute. Just remember to keep the cell phone turned off so you are not charged for voicemails from your incoming calls while on the ship.

I wonder if you get charged for them just coming in or if you only get charged for the if you listen to them? I know on my "europe" phone I only get charged if I listen- but this is not a regular phone.

She has connections as she is a TA. It's like going to the doctor when you're a nurse. My husband is amazed at how different my visits are to his. Robb was amazed when the MD asked me what I thought about the plan and what I wanted for pain meds when I was there for my first visit post fall. You gotta speak the lingo...

Email me your cell number, and I will text you here. When you get into BCN- attempt to reply back to me. It should work even if your phone is CDMA. Just call Verizon and see how much it would cost to send over there. It's usually less than 0.50 and it might be a good experiment- I know I still owe you three names or so. Sorry.
