Has been a scary day today. DDIL (Coalchick) and DGD were rear ended on the way to school and work this morning by a man who went to sleep. He admitted it was his fault, that he did go to sleep. We are saying "THANKS BE TO GOD" as neither of them had serious injuries, although I am sure tomorrow they are going to have sore spots. SUV was totaled but that can be replaced. We leave on Thursday and in meantime they are trying to get everything taken care of.

I wonder if you get charged for them just coming in or if you only get charged for the if you listen to them? I know on my "europe" phone I only get charged if I listen- but this is not a regular phone.

This is what Cingular/AT&T told me - If my phone is on and the call goes to VM - I will be charged for those minutes. If my phone is off and the call goes to VM I am not charged for those minutes. When/if I retrieve those calls I will be charged for those minutes.

So sorry to hear that! Hopefully everything will be okay and that they won't be to sore tomorrow. Falling asleep at the wheel! Wow! I've heard that driving tired is worse than driving drunk! I'm thankful that you are telling us that the car is dead- rather than a loved one!

Does anyone knit? I'm thinking about trying socks on circular needles and I'm thinking of trying it for the first time & wouldn't mind having someone to go to if I get confused.

DS is a big boy, 13, looks about 15 and will probably be wearing some nintendo themed shirt. Lauren will be in pink. We will have seats that are 2 and 2.
You leave in 12 hours? I'm jelous! I could be ready in an hour!
But I still have one more day of work!
I love my preschools, but one in particular is driving me crazy and I told fellow teachers that there's a Pina Colada with Jakes name on it!

We met with the dog sitter tonight. I don't think Chihuahuas know their dogs either!! I was wondering if all you dog lovers out there were having as hard a time leaving your babies as I am leaving mine!! She won't know what to do without someone here all day long!!

just got back from the hairstylist, not looking at packing, checking or anything else. Just looking thru the disboard and then go to bed. I'll finish everything in the AM, Check in with all the rest of the kids, take care of the car, get on the shuttle for the airport and BCN here we come!!!

Do not feel the need to read this but at 2:30AM I have to vent---

It is my fault for not putting things from the spare room into suitcases before tonight. I accept that.

It is my fault for watching all of DWTS results show and not just the last 10 minutes and not starting to transfer things until after the late news. I accept that.

It is my fault that I did not thoroughly inspect my new 30% lighter luggage when I bought it in January just for this trip (so I didn't have to worry about my luggage being overweight). I accept that.

But IT IS NOT MY FAULT that the GENIUS that DESIGNED and I quote "The 4 piece Orbit lightweight luggage collection by CIAO1 uses innovative construction and frames which results in an amazing light weight series of luggage components. In addition, these components are also super strong. The attention to detail" (remember this part) "makes this luggage collection a truly spectacular design, including such standout features as rubber molded feet, abrasion guards, self repairing zippers, slim line handles, push button telescopic handles, and quiet-glide in-line skate wheels" FORGETS TO PUT THE THINGY ON THE TOP OF EACH PIECE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO CONNECT MULTIPLE PIECES WITH A STRAP AND ROLL THEM ALL WITH ONE HAND!!! Apparently knowing the complete functionality of luggage was not a requirement for designing it.

SO, if you see someone trying to juggle three matching bags, all wheeled but not connected IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT. In 2007 you just expect a 20+ year old standard component to matching luggage to be STANDARD DESIGN and you don't check to make sure it is still there!!

At least I don't leave for the airport until 5pm but I was going to go into work for a few hours (so I didnt have to waste a vacation day - lol) I wonder how a 55y/o controller functions after pulling an all nighter. Note to self - don't do any work, just delegate - lol. Oh well, I should be able to sleep on the plane and be ready to explore BCN when I arrive.

Well, I'm up too. Leaving in less than 5 hours. I'm sorry you're frustrated. When you get back you should return it. Try a bungee (sp) cord. Some of the straps on our other pieces of luggage come off, do you have any that you can use from other luggage?
