Celeste,
Good luck at the ortho doc today. Hopefully, he'll have good news for you.
Rita,
No problem. I hope I can help. I was a Brownie leader for 3 yrs. and Junior leader for 3 yrs. I finally took off this year. Kate is in Cadettes this year.
I'm marathon packing today. One kid is just about finished. Most of my stuff is sitting on the bed. DH & DD are not even close.
Tomorrow is Confirmation for DD. I was going to cook, but dh wants me to order out for something. Doesn't the Bishop know I have packing and cleaning to do? I can't believe how unlucky we were to get Tuesday at 5 for Confirmation. At least I don't have to work this week.

Hey all... sorry I've been AWOL for the last few days... had a few issues pop up... including an emergency Root Canal, and an MRI on my foot... At least it happened now and not a week from now! LOL...![]()
Oh Cool!!! Another neighbor... weeeeeeee
Can't wait!
Deb
We made some real headway last night with packing, so I'm feeling a little bit better today, but what we're still trying to navigate as first time cruisers--Disney or otherwise--is just how formal is formal? Is semi-formal kind of like business-y? nicer business casual?![]()
What's your experience? What do you recommend? This part is giving me stress ...![]()
Now I need to go home later and eliminate at least one pair of shoes--I'm aiming for no more than 4.
Hey, Deb....we are in 6631....any where near you?

I did all myyesterday. Refuse to wear anything "cute" before the trip now.
Ironing and packing tonight because I'm going to a special event at Kennedy Space Center Weds. night, so no last minute packing for me. I'm wishing I bought a luggage scale now.
a bit about being "over" the limit. Don't want to have to pay a fine to the luggage ::cop: !!!

Haircuts - done
Pedi/manicures - done
overpacking - mostly done (always time to throw a few last minute panicy things I won't need)
Pales in comparison to Mari's granddaughter and Celeste's foot, but the dog decided this morning that his hind leg didn't work and his vacation at the kennel starts tomorrow. Seems the little 17 month old has knee issues. I need to get into the doggie prosthetics business. There's got to be a market for little doggie knee stabilizers. He's AOK for the kennel though. Nothing to make you appreciate a vacation like a little last minute drama.
Thank you to everyone who was kind enough to remember about my doctor's appointment. You all are very kind. I am glad to say that SO FAR- the doctor wants to try physical therapy. He was concerned about me walking a lot in Europe- but I told him that wouldn't be much of an issues as I am be diving almost as much as I would be walking.
He was pleased with that. He told me I HAD to seen the morning after I arrived from Europe and then he would give me the final determination regarding surgery. I love it how they bend your foot a billion different ways and poke and then ask you if it hurts or not.

He was impressed with how bruised I remain 15 days after the fall- but I will say that the swelling is ALMOST gone! But, I still don't think I'll fit into my "nice" shoes for the trip.....we'll see.

I don't think my room is by anybody else's, 6070.
Hello? Anybody by me?
I had to think about this, as it's habit now, but I always bring a small asst of ziploc bags, small and gallon size. They're great for everything!
