Ah ha! You obviously don't come from the same part of the country as I do. I'm looking at Barcelona weather with 73 for a high and thinking where are my long pants, jackets and lace up shoes? :lmao:

:rotfl:

Sue

It was in the 40's this moring at wake up call. 73 will be a heat wave. :rotfl:

Thanks for the reminder - note to self, pack a sweater and/or jacket

T- Glad to hear that Mom is doing well. I enjoyed talking to you earlier today while I was getting my flat tire fixed. I may have a solution for you and your cell phone issues...

Someone else asked about my foot earlier...
I had my MRI today- and the tech let me look at the films, all I can tell you is that there is swelling and two areas that look "iffy" to me. You have to remember that I am used to looking at MRI's of the brain or spine- so an ankle is really foreign to me.

I attempted to do non-weight baring exercise today- riding a stationary bike and that was a mistake. My ankle is now double in size again.

I am going to follow up with my doc on Wednesday, I was going to ask and see if I could go back to work on Thursday, but after today- I don't think I'll ask.

But, I can drive short distances now without it killing- that is a PLUS!:yay:

OK, I am embarassed, :sad2: I think I am taking more shoes than most of you ladies... :scared1:

I am taking:
1) Sneakers (wearing on board)
2) Birkenstocks (for pirate night and toga party)
3) Docksiders (casual walking about)
4) Black dress shoes
5) Formal Black Shoes
6) Hiking boots (for Pompei hike up Vesuvius(SP?))

Thats just not right....

After seeing all those tuxes that were not making the trip I ws happy to see you were still bringing yours - there is something very continential about a man in a tux (sorry). I hope those shoes don't take on too much attitude for those hiking boots and birks :rotfl2:

just for you Sandy ;) Almost exactly 2 years ago. May repo PC

Notice the Lanyard. :lmao: :lmao:

Let first begin by saying that if any of you took the Mexican Riviera DCL cruise when they brought the Magic over to help celebrate the 50th, I do not mean to offend!
BUT- this group seems so much more relaxed with formal nights!
We had our first cruise in 2003 and there was a variety of dress for formal night. I thought "O, I can go a little more relaxed!" WRONG!!:scared1:
I think everyone must have gone to Rodeo Drive!!
Now you all are talking about sundresses, dressy flip flops and even levis!!:cool1: I LOVE THIS GROUP!!:mickeyjum :mickeyjum :mickeyjum

And for those of you who are going formal-thats cool too!!:hippie:

PrincessLise- ta Lauren will love the pstcard! One of her teachers just got back from there!

Notice the Lanyard. :lmao: :lmao:

Absolutely Bond-ish (even he wore a lanyard one or twice, right).

Blame it all on Bond. I worked as an usher in a theatre as a teen many moons ago and On Her Majesty's Secret Service played for 6 weeks so I saw Bond in his tux several times a week.

I just don't think men understand how good they look when they dress up like that. And of couse, women love to dress up and it shows on their faces too.

If your cell phone can be unlocked- this is a pretty good deal for an international SIM card. You can get free incoming calls in Spain, Italy, and France- but whoever is calling you will have to pay for a cell call to the UK.

If you really want access- globally, you can rent a satellite phone. Free incoming calls- but I'm not sure where your number is based from.

We are also going to Versaielle on Saturday, June 9th....I think I might know someone going that day.;)

If you here someone LOUDLY explaining that we are going the WRONG way, you'll have found us. :lmao: Of course that someone is only 6. Still, she thinks she owns the universe and let's everyone else know it! :goodvibes

I'll have my cell - so send me a message and I'll let you know where we're at - just so you can avoid us! :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

I'm looking forward to it...

I just need to know the first name of everyone attending along with the ages of anyone under 18. You can go ahead and post it here.

Sue

Dale & Jeff

(We're both over 18)

I didn't realize I could get more excited about this cruise than I already was!!!

Thanks!

A new Disney Baby!:cheer2: YEA!!:cheer2:
Just think of it as starting the baby off early on cruisin!:woohoo:

By the way, where did you get the tee? One of my boys in my classroom just found out he's going to be a BB too.

Since I dont drink much, I'll keep you company!:cool2:

We made the t-shirt ourselves and got it printed at cafepress.

Tell your friend to seach "big brother" at cafepress...there are TONS of shirts. But as I said we made our own...since our boy LOVES hippos and animals in general!

We were hoping for baby to be a true disney baby like our DS is now. He is a product of a LOT of wine at the upstairs french rest. at Epcot! :)

Now I just have to start looking for neat names while overseas! :)

Breighton is named after a hotel in Paris that we were staying in when hubby proposed!

It is a 20 minute hike... :lmao: :hippie:
Nothing major... we also have this booked.

Jenn say's it is not a big deal.

I'm so glad to hear it's only 20 minutes, we are also doing the hike and I plan to wear walking sneakers. When I read about the hiking boots, I was thinking we have to cancel our excursion, since, we have no room in our bag for hiking boots!!!!! I need room for souvenirs!!

Congrats to everyone on their good news!!

Cool stories!! So you wanted baby to be like the old DCL commercial with the Mom and daughter on the elevator and the little girl says something like "Mommy calls him her little memory" or something to that effect?:)

WOOO HOOO!!

Good morning everyone.

Another day closer, one more work day before vacation behind us. :thumbsup2
Yikes, that also means one less day to work on those lists :rotfl2:.

Have a great day.

Sandypirate: (because there is no toga mickey)

Question: On the goodies that we leave for each other, do you put on the item itself who it is from and use your real name, "From Zagar family, Peoria AZ" or do you say its a smaller item wrap like a sticky note around it with the name on it? Ive decided what Im doing, just working out the details now!
:mickeyjum 7 more work days:mickeyjum :mickeyjum :mickeyjum
Have a great day!!:grouphug:

I think I will put my Dis' name, only because if I put "Lori", everyone wouldn't necessarily know who I am.

Good Morning everyone...

Woke up to no Satellite TV service this AM to my TV, roommates is working fine. Yippee, one more thing to deal with while getting ready for vacation. I know it doesn't compare to some of you without passports, family having surgery or personal injuries to your ankles. But why does it seem these things always happen when you are getting ready for a big trip/vacation and have 5000 other things to deal with already?

Oh well, Service is scheduled for Saturday morning. Hopefully the issue will fix itself before then.

Thanks for listening. Off to get ready for work.
