Huge tornado just passed through my town. Some lives were lost. I am thankful that my family is safe and will really treasure our vacation time together even more now.

After 6 months of looking at them, I finally bought a go pro hero 3 camera today to use for diving and maybe paradise beach/aqua duck shots. On the one hand I am super excited to have a new gadget to play with but I am also kicking myself for wasting my last day off before the trip playing with it. I have spent all day trying to figure out all the features and played with it in the pool with the boys all evening. No packing done at all and now I am stressing reading the boards with everyone with their stuff together. Oh well guess all we really need is a credit card, passports, swimsuits, and a smile and we should be good to go.

Wow...how scary. I'm glad you and your family are safe. So sorry for the lives lost. We had some pretty nasty storms in our area tonight as well. Where are you located?

Saw reports of those midwest tornadoes this morning on TV. Glad to hear you're OK, but hate to hear that others lost their lives.

Well guys I am sitting at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, GA. Today is our annual gold tournament at YHC.

Much at the local nearby stores will be priced in US dollars, especially in Mexico. So, bring small bills, 1's and 5's if you want some modest souvenirs. Cayman sticks to their own currency but almost always takes US dollars for payment as well. Oftentimes change will be in local currency, so having small bills will minimize your change to a few foreign coins typically.

Credit cards are good for major purchases. I would not risk the chance of fraud by giving my credit card to a small local store in Mexico.

I always bring at least the travel size bottle of Downy wrinkle release. That stuff really works great on wrinkles. It may not work on stuff wadded up in a ball though which I think my DH does with some of his shirts.

Does one bottle get you through the entire trip, or would you recommend a couple of bottles? One per person? It sounds like a great idea. I want to go get some.

I also wanted to throw this out there I am a concierge guest and my family of 4 has reserved a private cabana on castaway cay we have cabana 2. I am really excited to use it but it is pretty pricey for only 1 day. I was wondering if there were any other families out there that might want to go in half with us on it. You can have up to 6 guests for the normal price and 50 extra for each additional person. I know its a maximum of 10 guest but we were hoping to meet a nice family that is friendly that we could share the cabana with. Since my boys are 4 and 2 we really thought a nice comfortable place to relax and cool off would be beneficial. If any moms out there thinks this sounds like something they would be interested in please let me know. Thanks

I'm really hoping Epic will be playing since it comes out the day prior to sailing. What do you think the odds of that are?? Just wondering if I should find a movie theater the night before??

I called yesteday and the newest movie they are playing is Iron Man 3. They will have the Muppet Movie and Wreck it Ralph and other movies but you can call now and find out. No Epic though

Lynsey we have a Facebook page also and that's where the weather is. As far as the FE, it is pretty late for that but we are having a meet and greet on embarkation day from 2 to 3 pm that you are welcome to come to to meet everyone.
