May 25th, 2013 Fantasy Western!

Hi, I'm in charge of ordering the bracelets. Just let me know how many adult and youth sizes. There will be a minimal charge for each. Won't know exactly how much yet since I'm still gathering info from everyone.

Thanks Diana! We need 2 adult for DH and myself and 2 youths for my 2 DD. My DS will be 13 - he is a 5'6" stringbean so I don't know if I should get him an adult or a youth size so do what ever you think is best - Youth or Adult for him. In all we will need 5 bracelets.

Thank you again!

Your Welcome :). I'm planning on ordering extras in both sizes, so if your ds needs an adult size, there will be plenty. As of now, we're looking at approx $2 per wristband.

Chill Spa is booked on the boat. I hear the reservations go fast so book early. My 14 yo DD is very excited to go to this Spa, since last time she wasn't old enough. :goodvibes

Thanks. I was afraid I would have to wait. My DD turns 15 during the cruise so it would be a nice birthday treat.

Any info on Pirate League availability later in the day? i.e. Is there a possibility of booking a later time on the ship since the latest time available now is 1:30 which doesn't work with our excursions? Just curious if anyone has any information! Thanks.
In regards to the Pirate League, I know from when we sailed on the Fantasy in October 2012, I was able to change my reservation time to a more convenient time for us. I would check as soon as you board if you can make an appointment or arrange a different time. When I booked mine the other night, there were later times available, looks like now they are all booked up. From experience, I know the times online book up quickly so I stayed up on Saturday night to book mine right away. Good luck! :)

When I was searching Pirate League on Sunday morning, I saw times from 9am - 130 pm and then a jump to 830pm.:confused3 I didn't see anything in between like 3 or 4 pm that would not conflict with our excursion plans, too.

Which beach are you doing at Cozumel? Is it called Cozumel beach?

Yes, here is the basic info on it: I have heard great things about it.

Cozumel Beach Break
Location: Cozumel, Mexico
At a Glance
Activity Type: Splashtacular and Family Adventures
Activity Level: Mild
Duration: 4.5 to 5 hours
Adult Price: $79 (ages 10 and up)
Child Price: $65 (ages 3 to 9)
Ages: All Ages

This will be our first Disney Cruise so we still can't book anything. Doubt we get in the the pirate's league.

Our's too. Just waiting it out until March 11 to begin booking our things and hoping for the best.

Of course, I've never gotten a jury duty summon and got one last week for April, May and June. I just turned it in to the clerk of court with a letter asking to be excused during the time of the cruise. Let's hope they excuse me. When DH asked if they excuse everyone the lady said "no, not always."

Mabe we will be lucky and not everything will be booked. They should excuse you for jury duty. Good Luck!

So who is going all out on pirate's night? I am thinking about dressing as Blackbeard. Anyone else?

I think my whole family is dressing up. I am borrowing costumes from friends for myself and DDs and DH has a Jack Sparrow one from Halloween a few years ago.

I have my DW talked into it and our DD (7) is excited about it. So far I can't talk my DS (21) into it. Still working on it though! :)

Is it true that you can carry alcohol onto the ship?

Yes, you can! It just needs to be in your carryon bag. We just usually opt for the small bottles if we bring anything. We've noticed that mixed drink prices on the ship are not too far off from what you'd pay elsewhere. My favorite is the Pearl Martini at Skyline (on the Dream).

You can even bring wine if you'd like. I think DCL charges a $20 corking fee if you want to enjoy it with your dinner. Or I'm sure you could just pick up a few things on our first stop in GC. Isn't there a Tortuga Rum store there?

And since we're in this topic, can someone please explain the wine pkg a little more? I've read through some other threads but still not finding what I need to know.

It seems like you can order any package no matter how long your cruise. Is that correct? The way I see it, if I order a 7-night package there is no way I would use that much & then have to take the remainder home. can I just order a 3 or 4 night package?

Since I'm the only one in my group that may have a glass with dinner, it might take me 3 nights to finish 1 bottle. Or I might find something I really enjoy and actually finish it in a night. In that case, the package deal may be better than buying single glasses. Thoughts?

Our family will be dressing up as pirates, you have to get caught into the moment! Pirate night is a blast!

I love pirate night!! I love dressing up and going out. I like the idea of pirate night much better than formal night even though we go all out for that as well. We have got the following booked:
Grand Cayman - Private Charter
Costa Maya - nothing booked may just hang out on boat....so undecided on that one.
Cozumel - Dolphin & Chankanaab Park
2 spa treatments booked
2 BBB's booked for my 5 year old - 1 under the sea and 1 crown package
I need to book Chill for my 16 year old really wish i could go ahead and book that.

I really want to do the FE but no one else in my group wants to and my DH is all weird about it. I'm hoping I can talk him into it in time.

We are first-time cruisers so I can't book until March 11th. Does anyone know if the nursery fills up early for excursion days? Wanting to take a chartered boat at Grand Cayman with my family, but don't want to bring my 18-month-old. A little nervous about leaving her on the ship, but if we do the excursion I think it would be better than having a toddler on a boat. It would be a moot point if there aren't any spots left in the nursery though.
