May 24, 2014 Alaskan 9 night Wonder

Well, you need to book now and come, too! It is two months away. That is plenty of time to prepare, lol. Also, sweetlovin' either sailed with you before or is on one you are going on in the future. I forget, as it has been a bit since I read that one.

Totally agree, come on Angie, not like you have anything better to do. Need Dennis as fellow photographer!

Interrupting your thread here to say hello to friends! (hello Albert and Ann!) Shannon, Sweetpeabass...I looked at thread first post and find there are other cruisers here we have sailed with before also. Heather - threebrits is one. Say hello to her as well. You all are going to have a WONDERful time in Alaska! :woohoo:

Frodo UK is talking to you! :cool1:

My right eye is completely healed and everything is great - can't do my other eye until after the cruise - he is booked solid between now and mid May - darn it

So, if you see a person with a patch over the left eye - that will be me

:)

That kind of bites Marla. You can wear a lime green one on Pixar night and say you are Mike! :lmao::magnify:

rofl

I am kinda of bummed - since he uses a laser for the surgery - he is at the mercy of the hospital

We will enjoy our cruises no matter what

:)

Just out of curiosity, has anybody done the Vancouver Hop-on Hop-off Trolley Tour? We are also looking at going to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park the day we get off the ship (our flight doesn't leave until evening). They both look very interesting, and we need things to do before and after the cruise.

Depends where the cruises are going. If it is the same old stuff, I will probably wait until September or October and book something last minute for a better price.

We rode the trolleys in July 2009. There are two routes, blue & red. Both could be picked up from Canada Place without booking. The red loop goes through Stanley Park, with several places to get on and off. The blue route includes Granville Island and Chinatown.

The weather was exceptionally hot, approaching 90F, which limited our exertions :rotfl:, but we had a great time and are looking forward to a repeat and visit the many stops we missed last time.

Did you see the announcement saying there will be an announcement from DCL next week. Came into my feed from DCL. All of you that have been waiting will get your answers next week for sure.

So who is going to be booking? or does it depend?

:thumbsup2:cool1::banana:

It's not the same old stuff

yup not supposed to be according to what has been "found"

What do you know, girl?

sightings of port schedules lead one to believe Hawaii, Iceland, Norway, Baltics will all be part of the announcement,

If you haven't checked your passport and drivers license lately this would be a good time. Someone at the beginning of this thread recommended a good book about the cruise - anyone remember the name?
