Been away for a week, and wow, our group has doubled in size I believe! We won't be in the Raddisson, so Grills wil be a little difficult.. But we'll probably meet everyone aboard

Oh, and greytlady, for your group-list: We (Me and my GF) are both 21, and no kids. But maybe we're still al bit kids ourselves

And to seastar: Yes, I'm a CM in Disneyland Resort Paris. Or actually, not IN DLRP, but on the Press Department of the Dutch office.

gamom: Be sure to wave when you pass us! I'm hoping to leave around 7am. That should put us about even. I would like to get past that construction on I-75 before it gets too late. (Like when isn't there construction on I-75). I'll be the one going slower through south GA.

Less than 8 weeks to go! (But who's counting).

Greytlady, I hear you about the construction on 1-75, and it's the ONLY way to get to Fl. from Atlanta! It must be about 9 hours drive from Gainesville? I really want to see the Magic sail away!

I got my confirmation letter in today from TA with all of the shore excursion info. That makes it all seem more real. Has anyone here received a free upgrade? Just wondering!

Hi Everyone! We will not be able to make the dinner at Grills We live about two hours away and are not heading up to Port until Sunday morning but we are looking forward to meeting everyone on board!

Carol-we haven't received any excursion information or docs. Are you considering any Nassau excursions?

Deweysgirl, We had considered the Stingray City/ Blue Lagoon Beach Day for the longest time. We decided to "make the most" of our first cruise by enjoying all the "Wonder" has to offer. We may look around the straw market or even visit Atlantis for a bit.

It sounds like our meet at Grill's is set. We are looking forward to meeting all of you that evening or the next afternoon on the "Wonder".:happy1: :happy1: :happy1: :happy1: :happy1:

WOW!!!!!!This is great, I think we met our minimum of 8 for reservations at Grills, if anyone else wants to go let me know?

I will call and get reservations this week-end with the understanding that I can add or subtract if needed up until the last minute. I will ask for tables by the window and hope for the best.

I will also post this again closer to the date in case plans change.

My grandkids are getting so excited to be writing to new friends and my daughter is excited just because they are "writing". Just another way of learning, by the way my daughter is a teacher, she use to home school until things in her life changed recently.

Great to have you back Jeroenalex---if you want nametags send me your names and I will be glad to make them. You can pm if you want.

Hello everyone! I booked my 2 teenage sons on the "Wild Side" excursion at CC. Although they both know it exists, I am not telling them before the cruise. I just love surprises!!! Anyone else with teenagers planning to book this for yours? For my other two children, I am planning on surprising them with a basket from "The Perfect Gift". Any suggestions on what to put in these? Any other ideas?

We have a little over 7 weeks!!!

Carol, your boys will have so much fun!!!

We are not doing gift baskets but I have a few surprises for our girls. These ideas may also work for your DD. For the Princess Greeting, I got them princess t-shirts and princess purses on sale at the Disney store months ago. The purses are filled with little princess trinkets. For Castaway Cay, I bought them each a cute sandtoy set from Dollar Tree. I also plan on getting two Disney pillowcases to get signed. We will give them those on the last day as a special keepsake of the cruise.

For your son, you could put in his favorite snacks/drinks, items from his favorite sports team, sunglasses or a towel.

Have fun planning the baskets!!!

seastar...thanks! I love the ideas you gave. The pillowcase is something I would love to do for my DD and my DSs would probably like one, even if it is just for a keepsake.

I think that doing something without us, will be sooo good for the boys. We do everything together, so this will be something different!

Just got message from doctor on new tests--I won't need kemo after the cruise
After another mammogram and ultra-sound they found the two spots have shrunk due to medication. We will re-do tests in 6 months. We keep a close check because I had a masectomy 6 years ago. Sorry so long, but I am so excited.

Now on to more fun stuff---only 46 days to go.

We are also doing pillowcases for DGD, but we are doing white t-shirts for the 2 boys.

Also bringing small gifts for everyone, including daughter.

Hope everyone is as excited as I am.

Hi Everyone!

tiggergranny-I am so happy for you, this is such wonderful news! Prayers and pixie dust always! We got home late Saturday night from our little trip and we received the note from your little gd. Thank you! We are trying to get back on routine and this weekend I will sit down with the girls and we'll send her a reply.

I posted a trip report under "Quickie trip" on the trip report board. Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. We had a very nice time and everything went well. Little DD is oficially 6!
