We are also going around this time, it is mostly considered "regular season" (for my resort) which is higher than "value season" but not as high as "peak" season. But Memorial Day weekend (May 22 to 24th) is actually priced higher.

We are arriving on May 25 (Memorial Day) so we are able to avoid the premium charged for Memorial Day weekend rooms. We saved quite a few dollars by moving our vacation a few days forward.

As far as discounts go, they should be released in the first couple of weeks of January if history repeats itself.
