Is anyone else hoping Ames will be the next Bachelor? That would be a Bachelor I tune into. He is really an unusual Renaissance man. They would have to pick some girls beyond the usual crew of bimbos, they would have to recruit women with brains first and beauty next. But I bet it would be an interesting season.
Now that's a fantastic idea! I'd watch his season, he doesn't come across as slimey like some of the other bachelors who shall remain nameless...*ahem* Jake!
I think it's pretty obvious she will pick JP. I doubt it will be for the long term though.
I used to think so but now I think she might actually choose Ben. JP is a such a cutie though, I'm sure he won't have any trouble getting dates if Ashley sends him packing.
i felt for poor Ames. however, it was pretty obvious that she did not have feelings for him. they had very little physical contact. on the carriage ride, they were sitting about a foot apart!
I know, Ames is such a great guy and Ashley doesn't deserve him. Their physical contact was non-existent! It was awkward to say the least.
i will be really surprised if she does NOT pick JP. he seems to be the one she likes the most. their kisses are definitely different from her kisses with the others.
I think they have the most physical chemistry by far. Yet somehow I don't know if she'll pick him or not. I'm not convinced. Plus they're all too good for her anyway.

Ugh, no kidding! My thoughts exactly. He is like a ticking time bomb. If I were Vienna I'd be sleeping with one eye open on Bachelor Pad.
Ames is a sweetheart, but he just doesn't fit. His sister looks just like him!
I think he wants love so bad that he's trying too hard, and it just isn't clicking for either of them. He needs to find someone who will appreciate him, not look bored when he's talking.
He truly is! I agree, he wants to be in love and it looked forced when he was with Ashley. Though, really, Ashley is the worst bachelorette in history so maybe that something to do with it.
I really like JP and I think they look the most comfortable together, but I'm not sure he can trust his feelings. It looks like more drama coming up with "the most dramatic bachelorette ever!"
Me too, he seems like such a sweetie. But I just don't see them together for the long haul. Heck, Ashley is so indecisive and insecure that I can't imagine anyone who'd be able to put up with that for a great length of time.
I'm not watching Bachelor Pad -can't do anymore Vienna and Jake stuff again. It is just such cheap TV - reminds me of the stuff Fox used to do.

Ames will be fine. He's bright and now lots of women know who he is. Lots of the people on this show are so shallow. He isn't one of them. He's lucky he escaped. I hope the editing is true and that jp gives her the boot. He doesn't deserve the crash and burn of a public engagement. He reminds me of my husband-a rock, sensitive, intelligent and good looking.

I have a feeling JP won't be able to handle the intimate island overnight dates that she's having with him and two other guys. He seems like such a genuine guy too.
I can't help myself. Every time I say, I am not watching this one, I do. Although I made good on my promise and did not watch Brad the second time.
Oh, you didn't miss much by not watching Brad's second one! Let me summarize for you. Brad tries to convince the world that he's ready to fall in love this time, you know, for real. But he also apparently needs his therapist to follow him around on the show in case he needs affirmation. Lots of girls cry, he sends lots of them home and picks the one girl who has the most emotional baggage and isn't ready to really let go of it. Oh, and now he's not engaged anymore.
If this girl picks anyone but JP it will be the surprise of the century. No chemistry with anyone but him. The other guys seem really nice but no chemistry.
I still think Ben will give JP a run for his money.
Also when they cast these things, do you have to be loaded to get a hometown date? Every house was big and nice and decorated! Wow! Ames house, Wowza! An indoor swimming pool and it was so big. I love how WASP'y his family was. They said oh wow, you got to go to Thailand again, you love it there and how he went to the best schools. Even though JP's house was the most normal, it was on Long Island and very nice.

I was SO sad for Ames last night...not because I really think he'd be good with Ashley but just because he seems so sweet and kind. I hope the Jackie rumors are true, and that they're very happy together! I think that's a MUCH better match!

I think he comes back though. In the previews, she opens the door and is so happy to see someone back. Unless it's Bentley again. . .
Oh please don't use that "B" word again! My gag reflex is kicking in! Although, now that I think about it, I wonder what would've happened if Bentley had said that he loved Ashley and wanted a second chance. She'd probably have ditched all those guys in second.
The producers probably promised J.P. a lot if he came back to finish the show.
It would have to be a lot! Though, I'm kind of thinking maybe it's Ryan or Lucas who returns since of course, as soon as sent them home she started second guessing herself.
I really think she is incapable of making a decision on her own. Just look at the clips for next week's show...she looks completely disheveld because her sister doesn't agree with her decision. She's easily swayed I think.

All is reactions & reflexes seemed off. Ashley even took HIS arm and walked him out slowly like he would topple over if she wasn't holding him up. Then the way he opened the limo door, it was like he was going to put her in the limo. He was acting very odd.
