I'm so stressed!!! I just realized that my girls' dance recital is Sunday (dress rehearsal tomorrow) & I still haven't altered oldest DDs costume!!! Guess what I'll be doing this afternoon/evening??!! I was hoping to spend some time finishing up FE gifts & start my packing list. That all goes out the window!!!

As for my FE .. never got around to making that either. I wound up buying 2 small drawstring bags from the dollar spot at Target. They are navy with an anchor & rope logo on them (very nautical). I'll sew them together with one having the logo showing & the other backwards so I can personalize with some iron-ons.

I hadn't heard about the weather brewing. In 2006 we had absolutely beautiful weather during Memorial week. I can't imagine sailing with yucky weather. We'll make the best of it though.

Still not feeling great. Not sure if I should call the dr. back. Finished up my steriods last night & have been on antiobiotics for a week. My sinuses were feeling better but are starting to hurt again. Just not sure if it's all stress-related. We had a few VERY sad events occur with friends this week that really wiped me out.

Plus Thursday is Lobster night which is usually not offered at Topsiders. Seriously, we plan on asking the head server if he can switch us to late seating that night. If that fails, we are just going to tell our server that we're gong to be late.

We're back on dry land after the DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise and I am officially on vacation!!!!!!!!!!

We checked into Kidani Village about an hour ago and it's fabulous. We have a standard view but it's really not that bad. Parking is underneath which is really cool.

Can't wait!!!!!!!

DD16 is wearing white with a sash that matches my dress EXACTLY. DD7 is wearing pink! DH got a shirt for his linen suit that doesn't match us but oh well!!!! We're there to put the new rings on! I got hidden mickeys in our rings!

ANYWAY, hurricane season doesn't even start until June 1 and this morning, all of the news stations are already "Tracking the Tropics", for several of their forecast models are showing what looks like a tropical system developing near the southeast tip of Florida (either on the Atlantic or Gulf side) sometime Mon-Thurs of next week

Might want to pack some ponchos for the sail away party!!

That's crazy!!! As a Floridian (just moved to AL 2 years ago) they ALWAYS play up the first system of the year. Hopefully it will die out before our cruise, or be out of the way by then!!!

Yep, it's up to date from what I know! I haven't heard of any new upgrades or anything since the last time it was updated! I hope you get to feeling better soon!! I'd be calling the dr since it is a Friday and you'll want to start on any new meds they may start you on!!

I'm FINALLY doing my laundry so I can pack my clothes today. Still have to do ds's laundry this weekend and pack his stuff...but he needs to clean his room first so we can find his clothes..)

DS has his FIRST FOOTBALL game tonight!!!!!! How exciting!! (hopefully he'll get to play...freshman are the 3rd stringers and only get to play in the last quarter if they are winning.) It's wierd that they are doing a game today, at the end of the year...but they thought it would fun!

Hi gang...I'm on the May 30 cruise, but this is a reduction from the rate that I found yesterday...and it's saving me $11 on my way home and $20 on my way to PC. Thrifty now has a minivan for $39.99 per day with unlimited free mileage. I got hit with a $35 drop off fee on the way TO PC, none on the way home....but even with that, it came out lower than the competition for our days and times.

Same here. I have to still get Jared's stuff ready for his trip. Every time I tell him I want his laundry, he ends up with like 17 shirts because they were all on the floor, under the bed....everywhere but the hamper.

Thanks for posting this...been away from the boards! Yes, I confirmed that 2 rooms in questions were NOT wanting to participate. Some had asked questions on the boards, but sent me a PM stating they were not participating.

Ugh, I know. I keep his dirty laundry basket right out in the open, and he throws his clothes on the floor, even up against the basket! Drives me crazy!!!

They had one last parent meeting to discuss all the things they've already said 15 times. Packing, phone calls, foreign currency etc etc etc etc....
