well Stace it had to be said, I have always suffered from my good looks and the power of the kilt is just to much for some ladies. I just want to have a good time and not break anyone's hearts  Lucky my wife is not the jealous type and married me for my Brains not my sexy knees.:banana:

I need to get a move on ... still no FE or FE gifts. Think I'll run to Target and/or Michael's at lunch today. I went to Joann's the other day but didn't think to get fabric for a FE.

I confess. The first time I met my DH, he was playing softball and looked really good in his ball pants. I didn't learn about his brains until later.

Boy, I hope this is correct now. I am sorry for the mixups!!!

Am keeping up with this board, but with work still so crazy, I have not been able to do a thing in order to get ready for the cruise. Have everything bought for FE,s I think. Just need to be able to get with Stacey & organize it Well, except for mini bottles, but I have to wait till nearer to cruise or I KNOW that they will mysteriously disappear. :confused3 I actually think I might finally get a day off next week. After 20 days in a row, I will be ready! But, on the plus side, more $$ to spend.

Speaking of the mini airplane bottles....is there a preference? Rum, vodka, whiskey....????

With her name, I get the feeling Tracey isn't too fussy about the content of the bottles, providing they aren't empty. ;):lmao:

I've been in the closet for the last couple of hours and have only managed to pull out 3 outfits for the cruise so far. :sad2: Plus I have to figure out what to wear to Jay's class reunion on May 1 & 2. :guilty:

I may have to call Omar the Tentmaker. :scared:

Bill...I've almost always cruised on Deck 8, except this time and once last summer. Once in a while, early in the morning, if they are cleaning the deck above, we heard the chairs, but we're sound sleepers so it didn't bother us much. The rest of the time we weren't in the room for very long anyway. The extra space is nice, but you have to decide if that noise will bother you. If you want a nap, there will be noise from above, too. Sorry I can't help too much...just that I can verify that the noise can be a problem.

Thanks. Maureen and I talked it over and we decided to accept the upgrade. It will definitely be nice to be in a bigger room. The noise factor is mainly the deck chairs being moved and the early morning cleaning, which at least is not continuous like last time. If past experience is any guide, the adult pool is usually very lightly populated, at least compared to the Goofy Pool. On our last cruise, on New Years' Eve, Mo and I had the whole pool to ourselves, complete with waiter and bartender for most of the evening. Being port side, we won't have to worry about smokers, so it should be good. Besides, it will be really easy to get that morning cappuccino from the Cove Cafe.

I am so with you, with this job the last few months I have put on a few, so none of my cruise clothes fit!!

I don't know what to wear, I gues a pair of black pants and some tops will have to do, will have to buy a new bathing suit though!

No upgrade for us, but I did notice we have main dining, that is early correct?

My Palo dinner reservation and my shore excursions were gone. I guess I didn't do that right. I hope I can get them on the ship.

If you click on the ferry's website you will see its one BIG BOAT so we will all fit just like me in my speedo's:lmao:
Stace if you are going with Omar's that means lots of silk, lucky girl.
My beloved is booking a manicure cuz she heard the little fishes go gaa gaa over little red nails, I wonder if they can wax my back, might have to pay double due to all the hair, but that might make me way to sexy:rotfl::rotfl:
Sharon is all this work talk to make me and the other poor blokes without one Jealous?:confused3 I'm a independant contractor now if you need help:yay:

I would have taken it too. Like I said, we go right back to sleep if the chairs wake us at all. And usually we're up and running anyway. Running for coffee, that is. ;)

Just in case you didn't know....which I'm sure you do....people on both sides of the ship can still smoke on their balconies. Just not up on the open deck. Which leads me to say that I really think it was stupid to move the smoking from the Cove Cafe area over to the area near Quartermasters. It's okay for the kids to breathe it, but not the adults??

Sharon's lucky she works for the RICH PEOPLE at Desert Mountain. They must fill their mattresses with $$$$.

We're just now finally feeling a little crunch. We own an ornamental iron and welding shop, and a lot of the contractors that we do work for were down to one house or none. We'd had worked backed up for about 3 months, but now we've caught up on all of it, and are seeing jobs just trickle in. So I know how you feel.

I tried to talk 15 yr old Jared into getting a Speedo to wear during his trip to Europe this summer. He wanted no part of that!! :lmao:
