I agree, these things are usually exceptional. I received word from the captain and have the info on sailing and payment/cancellation. Since I'm not up to 10 posts yet (almost there!) pm me with your email addresses and I'll forward the info to you. Looks like we're set!! He included a partial schedule which looks great!

:yay::yay::yay: PM sent!! :thumbsup2

I sure missed a lot. Welcome to everyone just joining! This is going to be so cool! Less than 2 months now~:cool1:

Oh, and I forgot to add...

2 months until our cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1::wizard::woohoo::dance3::cheer2:pirate:

I can't even believe it, I have never done a vacation this fast, I am so the planner, Usually I have a suitcase open and have stuff in it by now. Not until tax season is over will that happen.

Have a gret day - only 59 more!!!!!

I need to get a move on .... I haven't done ANYTHING for this cruise. Last time, I was such the planner. This time ... nothing!!! I need to get moving on my FE gifts. I tried one yesterday & it was pretty easy & quick to make. Just need to look through Heather's list & see how many more I need to make. I still don't even have a FE ... guess I need to find those instructions & get busy making that too.

I made our DIS meet name tags. I used the Home Depot Mickey head tags, but my handwriting stinks, so I didn't want to just write our names on them. So I scanned them into the computer, used the Disney font to add our DIS names and our real first names. Printed them on photo paper and now need to decide if I will put them into a pin-on name badge, or a lanyard. Going to Office Max to see if there's a lanyard card holder that they will fit into....otherwise will just do a name badge.

I think I have all the "extras" done and can just wait to pack now!!:cool1:

Ok so apparently I can't send a private message until I get to ten posts, which I will today, so I'll contact the captain and let him know we have enough and then give you a call. Thanks for your interest. I'll let you know how we should pay and the details when I get them. I did find another option as well if this one doesnt work out for some reason!

Tom

Tom...I also wanted to let you know, in case they ask, we have our own snorkel gear. Well, masks and snorkels anyway...I'm still debating on whether to haul along my own fins. But I probably will, they're the short ones and not so hard to pack & carry.

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing.

I'm trying to make the same decision. We have the smaller fins as well which work great in the ocean, but all that stuff is a pain to carry. We'll have to meet up and share a cab over to the pier!!

Here's the Mickey Head. You'll probably have to adjust the size of it once you get it into a photo program.

Nuts....I thought I'd made it smaller before I posted.

Sharing a cab sounds great. I want to try to find a "touristy" store near the port to grab some souvenirs, first chance they let us off the ship, since we'll be running back to the ship!

I'll just have to wait and see how heavy my bags are before I decide on the fins.
I'm not using my usual luggage this time, am using large rolling duffel bags....the suitcases themselves add so much weight, and the duffels are much lighter.

All this planning, planning, planning.....as if we didn't do it almost every year! :sad2: I should have it down to a science by now.

Funny how different things are. My wife and I just throw some things in a bag and take off. In fact all 4 crusies we've booked we did within 2 months of sail. In fact our last was about 3 weeks. I think this Kuralu thing is the first planning adventure we've had in a while!! We should have time in the morning to look around anyway. Should be docked by 7-730 and the catamaran sails at 9. Thanks again for your interest, we really wanted to do this one!

I can not stop thinking about it!! And buying things for it!! :scared1:

Don't tell hubby!!:laughing:

I just created a new cruise dedicated signature!!
