Hope everyone is having a good hump day!

I'm trying to get through this day ... 1 hour & 10 minutes left!!!

Ang

About 2 1/2 more hours here. At least it's sunny today, a little chilly though. More rain tomorrow.

What happened yesterday? Hope that doesn't happen again today.
Ang

I worked a bit too long. Started working at 3am and finished up at 9:45 pm! Today seems much better. Just some days get like that.

At least I don't have to go outside today. Nice and chilly today!

Tracy, don't work too hard. It's not good for you. Work is hazardous to your health.

From another man also sort of looking for a job!
I would have to agree with this statement!

atleast, she did not have to get dressed! :rotfl:

I did not either lol, will tomorrow, I have to go to class and to the vet's office!

Has been a hard few days... our cocker spaniel Maisy had her entire Left ear removed! not just the canal, the floppy part also had to go.
First it was just the canal portion due to chronic infections!
But, during the surgery the blood suppply to the floppy part of the ear was cut off.. the whole area, became greatly infected!
Back in to surgery she went!
She is ok and we now have a one eared, no tail, 2 different colored eyed, Deaf, 4 year old Cocker.

But we love her!
she is doing well...

Peter and Jenn, so sorry about Maisy....sending pixie dust for her speedy recovery.

Poor Maisy!!!! My parents golden retriever is at the vet with double pneumonia, she's 10. But she seems to be doing better, getting all that crap out of her system.

Good luck with the job search Peter.

Oh, those cocker ears. Our 9 yr. old cocker just got off 6 weeks of meds from her ear infection she got before Christmas. Now I have to flush them every other day, probably for the rest of her life. Yes, you can't help but love them. She's been my lap dog for a while, but lately our 50 lb. dalmatian has decided she wants up in my lap, too! Here's to a speedy recovery for Maisy.

We went thru that!
this was the end result!
Last year she had the other ear canal removed with no problems!

this link below is not for the faint of heart!

Wow!!!! You're right, that wasn't for the faint of heart. I can't imagine going through that. Our boxer's main problem was eye infections. He was born with really droopy lower eyelids, which left his eyes open to all sorts of stuff. We finally decided to give him an eyelift. They still droop a little and he's only had one major eye problem since. Probably the only dog you know who's had plastic surgery.:lmao:

It's the weekend here already. They cancelled school last night. I closed the library today, and we are snowed in (Heather, do you want to come and visit?). DS was thrilled last night that he didn't have to finish his homework before bed. We didn't get the 8"-12" that they were calling for, but the wind has whipped up 5'-6' drifts. I was a regular day off for DH and me, anyway, so nothing special. Sounds like a Wii day today!

TGIF!!!! I'm so glad the weekend is almost here. I can't believe January is over already and I have a feeling February will go just as fast.

Welcome wmjivey!!!!! Hope you decide to join us.
