-Babs, DS is dressing for pirate night, and the rest of us have semi-costumes. Like eye patches and little accessories.

-Nursechell and Churchlady, my DD said she would love to pm your girls. Expect one soon. Maybe tonight.

-Lindaski, welcome and we hope to see you at the sailaway party. We are all wearing some kind of lime green ribbon or pin or paintchip.

-Donmil, I really wanted to make some kind of birthday sign for our door for our DD, but I just don't know that I will have time. I trying my darndest.

-Have not received cruise docs yet, but I too am diappointed to hear we are leaving KW so early.

Geez! That is early to leave Key West. On the navigators from 4/8/06 western sailing, they didn't leave until 9:30 pm. I wonder why we're leaving so early?????

I tried making door signs using Print Shop, version 6, that I've had for ages and ages, but wasn't having much luck. At Sam's the other night, I found Print Shop, version 21, and I've already made 3 signs. My family thinks I'm crazy!!!!

I am getting so excited!!!!!!!!

is there already a list which movies are shown during our cruise? I want to inform myself before we are flying, because I am not familiar with the english titles (In Germany they are translated). I know there is a 1-888... phone number, but I cannot call this number from Germany.

Sorry Oliver, I do believe that we need to call the week before we cruise to get a list of movies that are currently playing. I will post it after I call.

We also have a room on deck 1. My sister does aslo but she may try for an upgrade at check in. I am thinking that I will just stick with what we have. We have room 1037. It is near the elevators and I am a little worried about that with the noise and all!! Oh well, we shall see!!

RECIVED OUR DOCUMENTS!!!

We got the docs for our friends but haven't gotten ours yet! Anyone else? Also- I am a little disappointed in them- the docs we have gotten in the past have been in a really cute "travel trunk"- these are in a brown envelope with gold squiggles on it. It just isn't as exciting as the old packaging. It just seems that the more they charge, the less you get! We also got Castaway pins the first couple of cruises then they stopped that! The kids got their own Navigator on their beds everynight while the adults got theirs, then they changed it to the adult Navigator delivered nightly and the kids were in the club, lab, or teen area were picked up at the beginning of the week, and now it seems they are combined! Also- on the pillows there was a cute card that had a "clue" about what was coming the next day- it has been gone since our 2nd cruise!
I guess I shouldn't be dissing on DCL, I am just sad that these small touches are being done away with- they really did put DCL ahead of all the other cruiselines!

I am doing the Documents dance. It was good medicine for my DD(7)who has a bad cold with 103+ fever. Let's hope she does not share it with the rest of my family.

Date of arrival? Is this the date at Cayman Islands?
City you boarded? Port Canaveral (wont fit in the space)
section 2: TA/Online booking? Disney Cruise Line (is this correct if I reserved online)
Intended stay? 0 nights
accomodation? ?

!!! TODAY the docs arrived in Germany !!!
First I was asking myself the same questions. Then I waited two minutes! An started thinking again.

1) DISCOVERY CRUISES/FERRY/OTHER SHIP
2) I think it is the day we arrive at the Bahamas!
3) City you boarded: I´ll ask at check-in
4) I think the second section is for people who stay there overnight, so I only fill out the infos like "Numbers of visit". But I will ask at check-in anyway.

But anyway are we talking about "Grand Cayman" or "Castaway Cay", because CC is at the Bahamas? Grand Cayman isn't, is it? Or is it because the DCL is sailing under the bahamas flag ?!?

Did anybody's docs show an itinerary with the times we'd be docked at each port? I thought someone posted earlier that their docs showed our cruise leaving Key West at 7:30 p.m.

Moving DD home from college on Thursday. DH goes back to his doctor on May 11 and will find out exactly what he can and cannot do. He then starts physical therapy on his shoulder May 15 and goes again on May 16 and we leave for Florida on May 17th!

Door signs are almost done! My packing list is almost complete! Spring cleaning is almost done too! And they are opening our swimming pool on Friday! I'm almost ready to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY DOCS ARE HERE UPS came at about 7:30pm. My first thought was this can't be them, the package is not thick enough . Well, it was all in there, last years packaging was so much nicer. Oh well 17 days.
