Nursechell I pulled out my docs from last year and yes on page 4 all of info you describe was there. The docs for this cruise are the bare nessities.

We don't have walkie talkies (but they would seem like such a convenience). Altho, they have become a very 'hot' topic here on the boards since most people think that people have become a little obnoxious with them. I know last year we went to visit some friends at their camp site & we kept hearing their camping neighbor's walkie talkie blaring out loud when we were all trying to have a nice conversation. It was annoying but hopefully on a ship, people would be a little more respectful? I'm assuming you can turn them down, right? Who knows but I know I would love to have a set onboard for when I lose track of a family member!

Welcome! What a great birthday present for your youngest son! How will you top his birthday next year? It's actually my husband's birthday & our 12 wedding anniversary on this cruise! Next year will seem like a dud compared to this years celebration!

We have a 10 y/o DS ~ maybe they can hang out!

Okay, I'm starting to worry....no docs yet. How can OliverOAS get them in Germany a few days ago and I'm in CA and haven't gotten them? Are they all sent out on the same day? Hmm....just like upgrades....no rhyme or reason! It is killing me!

I believe the DVD's that you request from the cruise line have the same packaging as the docs (from what I've read, our old one from last year was described as the old DVD and the same for this year). I have nothing to compare the docs to but boy, I sure would feel better when they are in my hands!!

We will also be cruising on May 20th. My husband, 10 yr. old son, 5 yr. old son, myself and 11 of my husband's family will be going with us. This will be our 1st western cruise but we have done the eastern and two 4 nighters. We are looking forward to it.
