May 20th 2006 Western Magic Cruise - Who's Going?

I was doing a little research to see the current pricing for our cruise on the DCL website and discovered that the cabin that we booked is currently available. (Cat 5, Cabin 7538). I wonder if they have upgraded us to a Category 4?

Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

I am starting to get a little nervous about this.

we had a cat 12 gty room only, and they just assigned us a cat 11 room. looks like they're making all the final room assignments, so they can send out our docs!

I confirmed with DCL rezzy center, we got a free upgrade to Category 4. Cabin #8082.

Just curious...did anyone else book the western union night cruise in Key West? We did and I just looked at my reservation and it is not showing it. I need to call Disney, but wanted to ask here first.

Jonette, it appears they have changed our docking times for Key West, so your excursion may be cancelled.

How to Identify: Where a lime green ribbon or Mickey Paint Chip (if possible put your username on it)

If anyone is interested in this tid bit of information with the online check-in process, I discovered a problem with it last night.

I don't think this really applies to anyone in the group except me because we are not doing any pre-stay and are using DCL transfers from MCO but here it goes:

When you utilize the online check in, it allows you to enter your flight information (I guess this is used to queue up the DCL buses at the airport if you are using DCL). However when you save the flight information after you input the info into the form, the flight times show one hour later then the time you entered into the form.

I spent about 45 minutes trying to correct it on the DCL site and it would not update correctly.

So tonight I called DCL ressie office and they said they were able to fix it for me, however I did not see it updated on their site. I will check it tomorrow and if it is not fixed I wll call again. The woman who I spoke to said not to worry though because they actually track everything just by flight number and not the times.

She also said the issue has been reported to DCL and they are trying to correct it. She said it had something to do with the time change to daylight savings time. Didn't we switch to daylight savings time like three weeks ago?

(For those of you in the IT profession I think you would understand that all DCL has to do is make a correction in their calendar database to fix this but then again what to I know... )

I agree that we shouldnt bother with the postcards. Lets just get together and party and enjoy the trip together. What fun. I cannot wait.

Anybody else having nightmares about something going wrong? I keep dreaming that we leave the port the first day and have to return that night because pirates are chasing the ship and they say we have to get off the boat and cannot cruise again for 2 years! DH thinks I am nuts.

Sounds good about the meet at the Sail Away Party. I agree that we shouldn't do the postcards either especially since we are getting so many more people on our cruise.

Anybody know when we should expect our docs?

We fly out early in the am on May 19th. I am counting the days.
Of course between now and then I have a million birthday parties, school events, t-ball games, tae kwon do classes, and Girl Scout functions to get through. Not to mention picking paint colors as we are having the interior of our house painted while we are gone. We also have a baptism this Sun and on May 6 we are going to see that Broadway show with Julia Roberts. All of these things BEFORE our cruise. Maybe it will make the time go by faster.

We leave the morning of the 18th- usually we have gotten docs about 2-3 weeks before we cruise- delivered by Fed-Ex I think. We have 17 more days of school
