May 20th 2006 Western Magic Cruise - Who's Going?

Add us to the list! This will be our 7th DCL cruise and we can't wait to go and experience all the new things that they have added to the ship.

We are from Panama City Beach, FL. Me, DH, and DD-14. We also have six other families going. There are children of various ages. The youngest being about 3 and 6. The rest are 11 up to 18.

We haven't decided if we are staying in Cape Canaveral the night before or staying in WDW. Depends on how generous DH is feeling!!!

We are also booked in a cat 10- if there are any upgrades once we get to the port, we will definately upgrade. Last time we booked a cat 9 and upgraded to a cat 4 at the port for $800! What a deal.

We haven't decided what excursions, if any to take. This will be our 2nd times Western DCL.

OK. Just wanted to let everyone know that DH and I saw Bon Jovi Mon. night and they were awesome. It is the 12th time we have gone, starting in the 80's of course. Just thought I would share. I heard there is an 80's night on the cruise. Just up my alley.

My roommates and I have just changed our reservations to the May 20 Western.

5 of the 6 of us went together on our first cruise on the Magic in 2004 and were converted. I thought the Eastern cruise was fantastic and had to be convinced to give up one extra day on ship to go on the Western.

We are all currently living in Utah and are in our mid-late 20s.

I shall be more diligent this time around in participating in our group. I think we missed out last time by not meeting the people we had been reading about for so long.

I am doing all the planning but that is what I really enjoy helping people plan their vacations. I really love doing it if it is a Disney trip of any sort. Gotta love Disney

Can it be possible??? Fellow rockers???!!!! FINALLY!!!!

My hubby and I are all about the 80's! Mostly 80's rock/heavy metal!!!! I've never seen Bon Jovi and want to really bad. My DH saw them back in the late 80's early 90's and was on the floor (I think at Madison Square Garden) and dove to catch a drumstick from Tico Torres (my hubby plays drums) he still has the drumstick and bruises to prove it.

Wow - 80's night will be even more fun on the cruise this time!

I agree! And I'm STILL jealous they are getting married at WDW! They're practicing for all those wedding day pics! It looks like they won't have a problem - they both photograph so well!

Well sent you guys mentioned the pictures...here are just a few of the engagement photos we took while we were at Disney in December. I LOVE our photographer. If anyone is interested in doing a Family session I can give you his name and phone number. When Leif and I have kids we are totally going to use him. I need to find a way to go multiple times a year so that our future kids can do the 3, 6, 9 an yr photos!!!

Woo Hoo! We got our cruise travel kit from Disney today. Didn't get a chance to do more than glance at it yet but it looks like it has lots of neat info. Did any one else get theirs?

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Year, etc. and instead of visions of sugarplums in your dreams tonight may you dream about the wonderful time we'll have on our cruise in May!!!!!!!

We got our cruise kits yesterday in the mail. They are in really nice packages but it is really just general info. Don't get me wrong, I love it! It just makes the cruise seem so real and almost like a Christmas present!
