I am sure we can request it if we want! PM me your information if you are interested.

Acutally PM me your info if you are interested as my TA is trying to hook my DH and I up with the same serving team we had on our past May cruise!

Are you from Cos Cob? I have a good friend from there. We checked JetBlue and Spirit and ended up going with American as they were the least expensive. I was suprised because we flew Spirit this year and last for under $120. rt. For some reason they were high this time. I wanted to wait til after the new year, but I also just wanted to have all the arrangements complete so I booked it. We got $168. rt. Not bad. We are going into the city tomorrow night for dinner. Also just got tix to see Peter Pan at the Garden for the kids, and Wicked tix for Feb. Love being so close. My brother lives on 55th between 2nd and 3rd.

I am indeed from Cos Cob! Lifetime resident! Who's your friend? I wonder if I may now him/her? You can PM me the info if you prefer.

Just looked up JetBlue pricing and it's still too high. Looks like Song has cut back on their flights I imagine due to Delta being in Chapter 11. I may have to try AA or Spirit. I think all the airfares are high right now because of gas. Hopefully, prices will go down a bit - I always check every other day.

I saw Wicked in Sept. Belated b-day/anniv/ gift from DH. I LOVED it and want to see it again!

Are you people dressing up for pirate night? I plan on getting stuff on sale after Halloween but my DH will throw me overboard if he's the only dad dressed up!!! pirate dad

I want to dress up for pirate night too! Trying to convince my DH to do it too, but I'm not sure he will. There weren't too many people dressed on our May cruise at least in our dinner rotation which is always the later one.

I'm going to hit the local Halloween store today (hopefully) and see what I can scrounge up. Pirates seem to be a pretty popular costume this year at least here in CT.

Switch your reservation to Ron Jon's! In my opinion it's better than the Raddison! Ask for the AAA rate if you decide to change!

Will there be anything left of our Islands thanks to Wilma????!!! :confused3

It's looking pretty bad :umbrella: , I was really hoping to do the original Western :sunny: but as long as I'm cruising I guess it's fine. :cloud9:

saw some pictures on the cruise critic web site and Cozumel looks very bad. I feel so sad for all those people who have lost so much and now having to wait for the cruise ships to come back to help their economy. I hope they can rebuild and tidy up soon so the tourists can go back as that seems the main source of employment.
Grand Caymen does look like it was spared though.

Doesn't look like there will be a dolphin swim for a while as Chanakaab Park was "gone". Sounds like the dolphins were ok though.

I feel very fortunate to live in a place that has no severe weather, just a little snow and some hot dry summers.

Yes, that is awful. I did not realize Chanakaab park was gone. :earseek:

saw that on the cruise critic web site as well. It said all the buildings were wiped out and the dolphins were currently in a hotel pool!! Didn't say anything about the sea lions though.
It looked like such a beautiful spot and we had hoped to go. Who knows, I'm sure they will try to rebuild as soon as possible as it appears very popular with tourists.
Have a look at the web site, it really shows some amazing but very sad pictures.

the pool story did sound strange!! Apparently moved to somewhere called Port adventure(?)

I called Dolphin Discovery and the gentleman on the phone said they will know next week what they will be doing on Cozumel. He did say that all the dolphins are safe. They do plan on returning to Cozumel and fixing everything up. Who knows how long that will take. I am just glad that they were able to evacuate the dolphins, and of course all the civilians. It seems from what he said the whole island was evacuated and there were'nt any casualties. Thank God. I am assuming they will work hard to get the island up and running for tourists a soon as they can. I know they need the economy back.

I have thought about it ::MinnieMo Are you? Or anyone else? :flower:

I think my kids will want to make them though prob something quite simple. Some of them look pretty elaborate and I am just not that creative. I am thinking along the lines of their favorite character and name or nickname. Or maybe as simple as the Mickey ::MickeyMo paint chips from Home Depot in their favorite color (told you I'm not creative!!)

Have finally made a decision re: Grand Cayman and booking the reef, rays and rum point with Nativeways. It seems to get very good reviews and looks like a lot of fun.

I would really like to make one to put up for my daughters birthday. I am not creative, but I will do my best.

I know I would like to and probably will for this trip.

Gee, I hope Cozumel will be in good shape for when we cruise next year. Mexico was my fav port!

Has anyone ever done the Exotic Rasul in the spa? If so, can you give me a critique?

No, but DH and I did the Aromastone massage! All I can is...AHHHHH!
(it was fabulous!) :cloud9:

lots of good info on the boards re Rasul!! Sounds VERY interesting and I think we will give it a try. Not quite sure when to book that though....depends what you plan to do I guess!!!!! LOL :cool1: Wouldn't want to be all greasy and then have to get ready for formal night or something!!

Anyone who has cruised before have any recommendation re: dining order (ie APL, PLA, or LAP) I believe being in cat 1 I can request this but have no idea if one is better than the other.

Remind me what the Rasul is?! I'm all about the spa when I'm on board! One word....R-E-L-A-X!

I will keep you updated. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :thewave:
