Just booked last night May 13th -19th at Pop. My hubby and I will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary with the mouse.

This is the first trip to WDW for just the hubby and me since our honeymoon trip.

I understand staying at a familiar place. The hotel will depend on what you are going to do. If you are going to a park everyday then it may not matter where you stay. We originally planned for an off day, now that we booked our flights we will have two off days, and the day we arrive. So we are excited about staying at POR because there is so much to do. We are also planning a night out by ourselves, so the boat to DTD will be handy that day.

If you're travelling to WDW between May 22-June 2, 2010 and would like to meet some other DIS'ers hop on over to the Group MAYhem thread on the PTR board. There are lots of folks going during this time introducing themselves and getting ready to plan some DIS Meets. Many have PTR's going if you're interested in other May fanatics. Last year we did the Mammoth May Meet at EPCOT on May 22nd (organized by Team Renfroe)- there were over 60 of us! It was great!

I have to say I prefer Pop over POR. I don't like how spread out POR is and the multiple bus stops. It is beautiful but I really enjoy Pop. I would stay at POFQ over POR-I like how compact it is. When I was there POFQ was the first stop before going to POR.

We will be at the BCVs from May 8-16 and will be celebrating my granddaughter's 7th birthday 5-15 at Chef Mickey's. First time staying at BCVs and looking forward to SAB!

I do have to submit my disclaimer, my MIL who lives in FL will be staying with us and we will have full use of her car, therefore bus stops are taken out of our equation. And we have not been to either resort, just giving information on how we decided on POR without seeing either.

We'll have our car with us. I just don't know what we want to do. Now the Cabins at Fort Wilderness are calling my name...but then I love the food court and the pools at POP. Oy....I'm so wishy washy.

We'll be staying at POP (first time in a value since '97...little nervous) May 8 - 14. While I'm nervous about the resort, I am still SO EXCITED that we're getting closer!

Was there for Memorial Day last year...nothing special was done for the holiday.
