May 2010 Code Watch - Room Only Discount 25% to 45% off!!

I just got off the phone with a CM. No pin code for me yet. Drat.

I need % off the room since we will be booking room only again. We are only looking at spending 4 maybe 5 days tops over Memorial weekend next year.

I've got 1 day passes left for us from last years 4/3 that I'm just going to upgrade for the number of days we'll be there except for mine. Mine I'm looking at either 10 day, park hopper, no expire or just say heck with it and upgrade it to AP. :rotfl:

I'm planning a solo trip for me next year too.

If anyone is booked for May, I started a thread in the countdowns :surfweb: feel free to join and help us all pass the time remaining till our vacation

I'm in!! I've never used a code before and am planning a trip May 2010 so hopefully something shows up!:yay:

Joining in the waiting for a May code. I have booked CSR for 7 nights in May. Hoping for 4/3 deal to be extended so I can have some extra spending money. I keep checking the mailbox as soon as I get home but no postcard yet

Yeah got a PIN for our dates!!!! So nice to save money...of course that just means I will spend it on souviners!!!! After all it will be my DS's first trip :goodvibes

I have my pin but I haven't booked yet. Still waiting for a 4/3 perhaps.

If I book with my pin, can I switch it out for the 4/3 if it comes out??

You sure can. Just call the Central Reservations line and they'll change it for you.

I keep wishing for a pin since I'll be booking room only but haven't gotten one yet.

A few weeks ago I finally got my first PIN, but it was for Disneyland, which I didn't need as it was for a travel package and we are Premium APs and don't need park tickets.

We are already booked through AAA at a value preferred room and I really can't complain about how much our 9 day 8 night stay is going to cost. But, because I am always on the hunt for the best deal I wanted to get a PIN just to make sure I was getting the best deal possible.

But, as I have been trying all the tricks that other Dis-ers have used to get PINs (like ordering the DVD and/or maps) and nothing was working, I was beginning to think that it wasn't meant to be.

However, yesterday I finally had success!!! I got the 20-30-40 that many other Dis-ers were reporting. I used the method that I found on one thread which is to go to the website and build a couple of different packages but DO NOT book. I saved them and did nothing else. Then, I got an email from Disney that was basically along the lines of "here are some pictures of the resort you are looking at--doesn't this make you want to book a vacation?" I looked at it yesterday and thought to myself--"yes I want to book (already booked as a matter of fact), but i want a PIN". This morning I happened to look at the email again and realized that I had totally overlooked the pin offer that was buried about three quarters of the way through the email in fine print.

If you really want a PIN (like I did), I highly recommend giving this a try. After all, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by potentially saving some money and getting to go to WDW!!!

I currently have about five pkgs saved on the WDW website for different dates in May. I also ordered the 2010 vacation planning DVD, am registered on the regular WDW website and also on the AP website. Still nada!:confused3:mad: I need a code for my May trip or I won't be going.

I know exactly how you feel because I've done the same and it's been months
and for a while I kept going back and changing things an little and doing the
surveys and still I have nothing to show for it--no pin or offers--nothing.
I even talk online to one of the CMs which told me to do what I did but that
I may not be qualified for a pin (CM made me feel that I wasn't good enough to get a pin) and that really made me upset to the point that I started looking at other destinations. I don't know who really qualifies for a pin? who deserves a pin?
We had to cancel our trip this year because of the very bad economy. We would like to go next
year for our 25th anniversary but the only time would have to be if
Free Dining is offered. I feel better now, thanks for letting me vent.

I followed everyone's advice on how to get a pin and I finally got one!!! I'm using it on my May 2010 trip. Thanks for all the tips everyone! :)

Geez I think I have to stop reading these boards for a while no matter what I do (I followed every step possible) I just can't seem to get one.

*sigh* ... me too. I don't get it. Some people seem to have PINs coming out the whazoo and some never, ever get them. Take my sister. She got two free dining pins for this fall. They arrived about two weeks apart. Then, just a few days before we left for our Oct. stay she got a 40% off pin for the spring!

I received a PIN good for May on Friday in the mail. I'm in Canada, BTW. Have never had a PIN but have heard about them through DISBoards! I honestly think distribution of the PINS is random as apart from visiting Disney in August I haven't been on the disneyworld.com site at all the past few months. We have gone to Disney every year for the last 4-5 years and had decided to skip a year but the 40% off PIN was too much to resist, given it falls during our ideal time to visit, May, and it means we can stay at our fav resort, the Polynesian.

I'll be watching for any other deal that can match/beat it but right now I'm just thrilled we're going back, since I had written off a trip in 2010. So for Christmas the kids are getting the promise of Disney in the Spring.

we did the 4/3 last year in May! Hoping for it again. we just booked 4 days May 9th-13th then the Wonder cruise. So if they do a code, we will back our date to May 6th. crossing fingers

Hi there. I crunched through the snow to my mailbox today and found a 30/35/40 % offer waiting for me. I'm very new to all of this and I have a question I hope someone won't mind answering. It's probably been asked before around here by others, and I apologize if this is a repeat question.
If I've already booked a trip to Disney through iTravel2000, and it is paid for in full, can I still take advantage of this offer after the fact? Also, is it just for those who book through Disney?
Thank-you for your time and patience with my newbie questions. :teacher:
