May 2008--Everything's Coming Up Roses -- COMPLETE

Thanks guys! It was fun to do and I like how the edits came out.

Just to update, I'm back from Hershey Park -- will post pics from Hershey on the "We Be Trippin -- Road Trip" thread...trying to clean up the house that I was hoping DH would do while I was in PA with my parents (  -- I know better!!), and all my medicine has arrived to start the IVF cycle next month.

I'll be giving myself anywhere from just a single shot to 3 shots a day, then after the "transfer", my DH has to give me a shot every day in the patookus (sp)...Ok, it's really the upper side patookus and I heard this really hurts. :worried: :(

Tomorrow I go for a Mock Embryo Transfer (i.e, the pretend to put the embryos into my uterus) just to make sure that things are open, large enough, etc.

So, yes, I am excited to get to the next WDW days and should be able to update this weekend with a few days and quizzes.

Wow. Hope everything goes ok. :thumbsup2

Oh, and due to a whole bunch of personal issues with our painter (remember the friend of a friend...), our dining room is still not painted.:furious: :furious:

She is supposed to come next week to do it...

Crud. Hope it gets done soon! :)

I hope it doesn't hurt too much! Isn't it all worth it though?

Can't wait to read more! :goodvibes

oh that sucks. :headache:

Marshay,
I am looking forward to Hershey Park pictures I have never been. Of course I have never been to Disneyworld but I have been to Disneyland so they can't be all that different. I started my pre-trip report if you're interested.

:hippie:

Hope all goes well and ouch that sounds painful, b ut will be worth it n the end I am sure:lovestruc

That stinks about the painter:furious:

Good luck with all the medical stuff you have to go through.

Looking forward to checking out your pictures of Hershey Park. I haven't been there in awhile. I really want to make a trip there this year.

Sorry about your headache with the painter.:headache:

Just a quick update...went for ultrasound and mock embryo transfer today and the good news is there are no cysts...the bad news is they found another polyp (previously had them removed in Feb 2007).

So they won't let me start IVF until it is removed. I'm trying to see if we can get it done next week...doc said I have until June 8th to get it done in order to meet this IVF cycle.

We'll see what happens...needless to say, I'm bummed...

Oh Marshay I am so sorry. I always remind myself that God has a reason for everything. I will say a special prayer for you.

 hang in there, Marshay! God knows what he is doing. :goodvibes When he's ready, it will happen! :cutie:

thanks guys! I know ... I really do believe God's timing is best ... and I was praying that if we weren't supposed to do it, He'd let me know...it's just disappointing...

Since the nurse didn't call me at all today to schedule, I doubt I'll get in. At this point, I'm trusting God -- if He wants me to go through with this current cycle, He'll make it happen.

 and prayers for you Marshay! I know everything will fall in place just as it's meant too.
Though we don't always have the patience:worried: .....

Good luck!!!:goodvibes I'm thinking of you!!

Chapter 3a -- Beach Club Here We Come!

So today is Sunday, May 4th. Last night we spent time in Magic Kingdom, met my parents for dinner at Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station, rode a few rides, watched SpectroMagic and the fireworks and then returned to our hotel.

Thankfully, DD went to sleep pretty easily and woke up at 8:30am. We decided to eat breakfast at the Radisson's buffet and it was good, all except the French Toast that literally went "Ka-Chunk" on my plate...not sure how long that had been sitting there...:faint:

Oh and at check-in and check-out, the hotel had a basket of Red Delicious Apples. For some reason my DD was really hooked on them. We all shared one or two last night and I grabbed three more today, too!

Then we drove to Wal-Mart to get our groceries and toiletries and I snagged some Disney scrapbooking stickers that I can't find at my craft store that were a good price!

We go over to Beach Club. Now if you remember, my parents had checked into their studio about 6 days earlier than us. We requested that our room be close to theirs. We were hoping to at least be on the same floor, if not near each other. I jokingly said, that maybe my only YoMD (year of a million dreams) will be that our rooms are actually joined together. This would make it so much easier to stay together and esp when my parents watch DD on our date night.

Yeah!!! Our room was connected to theirs!! Woo Hoo!!

We unpacked our stuff and changed into swim suits to enjoy SAB. The huge ship that has the water slide in it would go under repairs tomorrow, so I wanted a chance to ride it one time. It was fast and fun!

Our timing wasn't the best though, so we had to rush back to our room for showers and practically run to Le Cellier for our early dinner.

I got the Filet Mignon, medium rare and the Chocolate Whiskey cake for dessert. Dinner here is wonderful -- I :lovestruc the pretzel bread!! Our waitress was OK -- she didn't go out of her way at all to do anything for us and when I asked for more pretzel bread, she didn't seem too happy to get it. However, the dinner crowd had just picked up and she was busy.

We then left Canada and my parents went back to the room since they were in Epcot all day. We went to the Peter Pan Neverland Garden which DD loved. There was a little playground here but it was busy so we just walked around a lot.

I really loved the Crocodile

And they had a teepee set up so you could go inside and make your own Indian Headress. DD had fun making this and wore it the rest of the night!

We then headed over to Journey into Your Imagination and got our "traditional" photo in front of the backwards water falls.

Here is the progession of our family photo:

Wow, that is awesome that you got rooms next to each other:cool1:

I love your topiary pictures. The tinkerbelle and Crocodile are awesome!!

I love the yearly family shots. Those are great:goodvibes

Glad to hear you got the rooms you wanted!

Also, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your dinner at LeCellier. We have reservations there in September and I can't wait. I'm thinking about the Whiskey cake, too.

I love the progression of family photos. Just think of how many you'll have in 20 years!

There's something even better ... coming up when we eat at Le Cellier again on Mother's Day!!!

How great that your rooms were connected! You are a tricky trickster...you had hinted at someone that one of the questions had 2 answers. My original thought was that you were next door, and then when you said that, I thought I was wrong because if you were next door, there would have been THREE answers (same building, same floor, next door) I bet ya didn't think of that did ya?

I would have been right :rolleyes1

so tricky!

:rotfl:

Those pictures in front of the fountain are all cute! I just love the lime green shirts!!!!!!!!!!! :hyper:

can't wait for more!

First, you are in my prayers Marshay. I'm sure everything will work out just fine!

Yay for you and getting a connecting room!!! :woohoo:

And I loooove the pics of the topiaries. I loved them when we were there!

I love the progression photos, very cool! I remember reading your TR last year, looking forward to this one!
