May 2007 TR

Again, I’m overcome by that “don’t eat too much it’s the end of vacation you’ll be back in the real world soon” thing, so I order the fruit plate.....

Mom and Athos order the skillet, so I can still steal one of those DELicioso acorn/pinecone waffles. B/c that’s the only thing I really like from the skillet…

There’s something about milkshakes for breakfast that appeals to me..... I ordered chocolate, then downed it as fast as I possibly could, then decided to be exotic and try the caramel.....

It tasted just like…a caramel. It was pretty good. Then I got another chocolate one to go. YUM.....

The fruit plate was good, and so was the waffle I pilfered.

:rotfl: Enjoy it while you can, my teenaged friend!!:rotfl:

When you get to my age, your metabolism won't let you rationalize three milkshakes with a fruit plate!!

OH NOES!!! not the iPod!!!

I'm so glad it survived it's escape attempt

I'm always so scared that something will happen to my little blue Mini, especially since they don't make them anymore!

WCC looks delicious and a Caramel milkshake - yum!

what could you have forgotten?! the suspense is gonna kill me!

Emma -

I just love reading your report; I wish is wasnt coming to an end. I can wait to hear what you went back to Poly for...:scratchin

Guess what?? I was able to get ADR for my upcoming trip at CRT (breakfast) - my DD (2) is going to LOVE it (at least I hope she will). She adores the princesses - knows all of them. She also consideres anyone in a dress, a princess. princess:

Bummer about your ipod - my DH is very protective of his too. He would freak if it dropped 2 stories. Glad your is OK (for the most part).

Patiently waiting for more,
Cathy

hmmmm....you'll have to wait for my surprise! ;)

I think I might have read what this might be on another posters report.....:ssst: shhhh, I wont tell what I think it is.

Cathy

Emma,

I just wanted to say that your TR has been delightful so far. I'm sorry to hear about your iPod's fall, but I'm glad that it survived with only a few battle scars from WDW.

I absolutely love all your AG photos, but it's been making it hard for me to resist getting another AG doll (even though I "should" be acting like a grown up and saving money instead). I absolutely love Nikki (finally a dark blonde curly haired doll... where was she when I was 7??) My DBF is working in L.A. this summer, so maybe I will have to go visit him and stop by AG place...

Keep up the amazing writing! I can't wait to hear more about your adventures, although I am sad that the trip (report) is almost over.

P.S. Kudos to you for taking all those AP classes, it will really pay off when you are able to "skip" classes in college:)

WoW! 3 milkshakes for breakfast  I would have put on pounds if I did that - oh, to be a teenager again ;)

What had you forgotten at the Poly - hurry up and tell us :)

I laughed as I read about the iPod adventure. I was picturing it in slow motion -- iPod falling, you grasping for it as you yell (in that deep, slow-mo voice) "Noooo!" :happytv:

But then I felt bad. :sad1: I definitely feel for you with the scratched iPod. I am exactly the same way about my digital camera. Anytime someone (usually my mom) wants to use it, I make her put the carrying strap around her wrist. And of course I've given her the whole "remember to turn it off and flip the screen so it's facing the camera before you put it in the camera bag" talk. But guess who was the one who FORGOT it was on her lap, stood up and let it fall on a concrete patio, thus denting the corner and making it a no-longer pristine camera? Yep, that would be me.:sad2:

So sorry to hear about the scratch on your ipod! I take care of my things like you do to and I have it when that stuff happens!:scared1:

Your trip report rocks!:cool1: I can't wait to hear what you forgot at the Poly! So sad it's your last day. :sad1:

An answer to your question a few pages back...about PO. I like the POR alligator bayou section the best. I've stayed in both areas. My trip next month is the first time for FQ! So, I'll let you know which is my favorite!

Just had to tell you, I got a new American Girl doll catalog today and thought of you Emma!! :)

Awesome update as always! Princess ArieL wants to do the hairwrap thing too for the first time. She has Preeeety long hair too (as you noticed in the pic I posted). How much will it set us back?

I hope you have (or had) fun at the national park. Which one did you go to? Was it beautiful? Last week, I was a state park without internet access. I didn't realize how addicted to it I am.

Thanks for answering my question about the hotels. I want to apologize about the hairwrap comment in my last post. I should have put that in a spoiler box. I'm sorry for my lack of internet etiquette. Next time, I will put my guesses in spoiler boxes. ;)

Buckets of confetti!!! Congratulations on your rocking AP scores!!! You've already gotten 4 courses out of the way. If you do decide to take physics, at least your background knowledge will help make the course easier. Way to go!!!:goodvibes:banana: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

We went back to the room and got changed for our dinner at the Concourse Steakhouse. It was time to pull out that gorgeous dress that had set us back a half an hour on our first day (because Mom forgot it and we had to go back…). I was soo excited!

I wondered when that little dress was going to make it's appearace.:cutie:
