May 2, 2014 - A WONDERous trip through the Locks WBPC

Oh good! Someone else to be jealous of!

Tell me, all of you PC experts. Which do you prefer, east bound or west bound and why?

Where is your favorite place to perch on the ship while going thru the PC?

Thanks :goodvibes About a million more of those questions over the next 14 or so months.:thumbsup2

I will only do WB. First off its three hours longer. Secondly it normally drops me off at home, well this one doesn't, but it's only 120 miles from home. After 5 with the 6th transit on the horizon I don't perch anywhere. I think the only thing I make sure I do is get photographed by one of the photographers that DCL puts on shore to take pics of people on their balconies or in deck 4.

Hi All:cool1:Very interesting indeed. Just knowing you are going on the WBPC this year is report enough I guess. You are supposed to be relaxing anyway.:beach: I don't do the wireless deal or the computer area either. Carry On.:firefight

Hey I am also going on this years WBPC. I will not be posting a live report, but I did not want to be left out. Ha ha ha.

We haven't yet met, but we seem to be alike in our cruise mentality...hangin', relaxin', beveragin':)

I write in "real life" and have not considered a TR for this year's cruise. I'll happily post photos, summaries, and answer questions! aan1701 seems to be the PC expert:cool1: My husband is going on several Port Excursions this year; he's afraid it will be boring onboard:confused3:confused3:confused3:confused3

Speaking of beveragin', in Dec we are taking a Celebrity cruise where an unlimited alcohol package is included.
That should be interesting.:dance3:

I would not say I am a expert. We just happen to enjoy this cruise.

Hi All:cool1: I think any info on the WBPC will be exciting to review no matter the time or date. All far aparty:party:s the Libations go, WELL let's just say" PARTY ON DUDE"party:

Hi All:cool1: Needed to bump the webpage to keep it going. Happy Easter to all!!:cloud9:

Our girls are very excited for this cruise; we find their enthusiasm contagious :):):):)

FYI for other families with girls...There is a fabulous pillowcase dress how-to on the DIS. We're making six for the 2013 WBPC, spending $8/dress.

Happy April Fool's Day! (Cesar Chavez Day for we Californians)

I am super excited too, but with so long to wait I'm trying to just keep my head down and concentrate on stuff I have to do now. Stupid work!

We're heading to DLand for DH's birthday in May so at least there's that in the short term to look forward to!

never mind. Silly me, off by a month and not wanting to pack for 2 weeks.

Exactly 1 year from today, where will WE BE???:cool1:

And I just remembered, there are washing machines on DCL!! WooHoo!

We have been cruising on Celebrity, dependent upon laundry service.

This means light packing!

I know where I will be. I will be at work. Where will you be? Enjoy packing light. I pack enough to get through the whole trip. It is not vacation to me I am doing chores, that includes laundry.

Oh crud, I'm a month off!:rotfl2:

Yup. Sorry to burst the bubble. But one year and one month from today I know what I am doing. I will be boarding the Wonder.

Hi All:cool1: So far I see a lot of experienced cruisers on the post for the WBPC. Looking forward to sharing info and absorbing it also. Both our DD are grown and we will be on our own for our 34th wedding anniversary and will probably have to adopt some grand kids for the DW to give her motherly instinct a fix. lol For those DISers :disrocks:going on the upcoming WBPC this May I wish to say- I can carry the luggage and I do windows too.!!:rotfl2: Carry on.

My parents cancelled this today:sad: We're still going, but we were REALLY looking forward to their first Disney Cruise. Something about, "too many days at sea..."

Funny, I say not enough sea days. That's why I cruise, I want to cruise not be on land. To each their own.
