May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

I've been out of the loop for a few weeks so will have to go back a few pages & see what's been going on! I am excited to say that our friends will now be joining us on the cruise! My parents are going to go to Disneyworld with us the week after instead, so now we're:

Colleen (35), Phil (41), Karissa (4), Leo (1) with friends Mat (41), April (39), Isabella (2) and more friends Kathy (34), Kevin (54), Katie (4) & Kyle (1)

Look out for our table! It's bound to be a noisy scene!:yay:

Aww....how awesome that it all worked out for you as I know you were very worried about working it all out with your parents. Where are you and your parents staying after the cruise? We will be at BWV!

Did you have a look at the names we have been tossing around, any ideas????

WALL-E

Wow, this movie got awesome reviews...

* As horrible, wretched, infantile, disgusting and flat-out lousy as "The Love Guru" is, that is how wonderful "WALL*E" is.
* Though perfection in film is a highly unlikely proposition, WALL-E indeed has become 2008's first perfect film and one of the best Pixar projects of all time.
* Accomplished in painstaking 3-D animation stamped all over in Pixar's signature style, the movie looks absolutely amazing at all times
* The most unique Pixar movie yet and, hands-down, the best love story of the year.

popcorn:: We went to see Wall-E Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed the movie, but I wouldn't go so far and say it was the best movie of the year.

Ok, DW and I disagreed about something (it does happen) - what do you think? Here's the situation:

Upon leaving the movie theater this weekend, a girl down the aisle from us left her purse on the seat. I picked it up fully intending to contact the owner and return all her belongings. (Of course, I wasn't about to carry a purse anywhere, so I had my DD carry it. LOL). I would not have taken anything. As we were walking out, the girl was heading back and I had my DD return her the purse.

If the girl had not returned, DW said I should have taken the purse to the theater manager. I understand her point, but here's my argument:

- I told DW that at least I know I am honest and nothing was going to be stolen. Who says the theater manager can be trusted? So my argument goes: I know 100% that the purse will get returned in tact, but theater manager I can't be sure about. Therefore, I say I should do the return.

- DW says that likely the girl will return to the theater (which she did) and they should hold the purse. Also she felt the girl wouldn't be comfortable with me digging thru the purse to find a contact number.

Thanks! I think we are going to stay at the campgrounds with us in 1 cabin & my folks in another. Cheapest way to stay at Disney with a "suite". I think the campgrounds look like more fun than staying at one of the budget Disney hotels (like All-Star resorts). What is BWV?

I like Maytees ~ but spelled "ees" instead of "ies" b/c the latter could be mispronounced. Plus, awile ago I looked up proper spelling of original word, which is "matee." Not that I'm opinionated or anything! pirate:

Has anyone cruised with Carnival? We jus booked a cruise to Mexicofor DH, DD(age 3) & DS(will be 9 mos) over Thanksgiving this year. DH is afraid we'll hate it b/c it will not stand up to our high expectations from sailing Disney last year - plus, no Flounders for the little one. However, it departs from San Diego (ou home town), making for an easy, affordable vacation for us. Any opinions about Carnival?

We cruised on Carnival about 13 years ago, so I'm sure much has changed since then. Sadly, I can't remember much about the cruise - heck, I can't remember much of what happened 2 hours ago. :lmao:

I think cruisecritic.com has forums for asking Carnival cruise questions.

That is awesome, the cabins are great, we stayed in them once and loved it!

As for the Maytees......we had a problem if I remember correctly because of another group that are using that name.....(someone help me out if I am wrong)

I can't remember if the group called themselves Maytees or Mayties. :confused3

But I guess that's what we're stuck with until someone creative joins our little group. :3dglasses

Funny enough, I just went back and checked that thread, it was for a May 3, 2008 sailing on the Magic:lmao: It hasn't been posted on since June 5, 2008, so perhaps if we wait just a little longer they won't mind us stealing theirs. Perhaps something like Magical Maytees?????? I am guessing???

I think if we throw a different word infront of Maytees or behind we would be ok, because we are not exactly the same.

I like Magical Maytees
Or Maytees on the magic
Maytees take over the magic
Maytees plunder the Magic????? (or some other pirate lingo....hee hee)
