If lanyard spacing is an issue ...
MAGIC ACROSS THE ATLANTIC
... could mean pretty much anything. Tejas to Espana is neat, but not sure it would fit on a lanyard.

(badge inserts vs. lanyards)
- Remember, badges do not know they are supposed to point in one specific direction. It is not uncommon for a badge to get reversed. The basic idea of the lanyards is to identify a fellow DISer from a distance ... something which would enable you to introduce yourself if you do not know the other DISer (or, cannot see their nametag). If you skip the lanyard and use a badge insert, I'm guessing people would not notice the badge ... especially if it gets reversed.

The lanyard spacing has various character limitations by company, screen print versus woven, etc. Woven is probably out of question (price and minimum quantity was much higher) at least from the ones I have researched.
We used lanyard and badge insert before. The badge insert was printed front/back, but I also had that thought then because of it flipping around since several ended up using their own lanyards (and they can just flip around anyway from body movement). Easy enough to print two sheets per person, slip KTTW card between the two sheets so no matter which way the badge is facing it is a clear view. Plus if it is printed in a color that is not a KTTW color, such as light blue background (?), then also helpful to view. I'd always be looking at the badge walking past someone in the hall to figure out which DIS member they were. So neat meeting them all! We also found several people resorting to using their own lanyards last time instead of the group lanyard. I think I may put a poll out there again regarding lanyards as those who responded previously may not be onboard still since PIF has passed. Kinda like money - many may have said they'd contribute to the lanyard team, but may have also cancelled the cruise at this point, so seeing where we stand with a lanyard team in donating funds as a team will be helpful as I know we had several reply they want a lanyard but are not willing to contribute.
