Hi There!

We are a group travelling on the May 17th Wonder cruise too! We're coming from Seattle and celebrating our 9 year anniversary pirate: princess: . Also travelling with the best friend of my DH, his lovely wife, their two DDs (newborn & 3), and their DS (5) :grouphug:

We just booked our spa and excursions! Having problems booking Flounders and I think it's a tech issue I'll have to call about tomorrow.

Can't wait...74 more days till the cruise & 69 more days until our Disney vacation begins (we are spending 5 days in WDW). We are all so excited!!! :hourglass

Welcome! I will be travelling with my daughter that will be 4 in April and my son who is 8 months old. I hope you get what you want for Flounder's that was the most important thing for me since we are wanting some adult time to celebrate our 10th anniversary:lovestruc Where will you be staying at disney? We will be staying a split stay between Beach Club and Old Key West. ( we are on the waitlist for beach club the whole time) I am so excited and can not wait!:beach:

I hope we can get the Flounder reservations too! I still need to call them because the internet is having some kind of a gliche on that. Our friends (the parents) are really nervous about using any of the kids programs and think they will not want to leave the kids with strangers. I cruised when I was a kid & loved the programs! ... the Disney ones sound like so much fun too! Hopefully, they & the kids will be impressed so that they utilize it! Right now we are just going to sign up the 4 month girl for Flounders Reef (since people have been posting that those fill up quickly) and I will see if they might let me stay in there with her just to ease her parents minds & to give them a break. It will probably be better than me just taking care of her in their room anyway, this way she will have toys & I can use the rocking chair (hopefully). This will be a big learning for experience for my husband & I, we hope to start our family next year & we love to travel! This trip with 3 little ones will be a great trial run...

Their other kids are 3 & 5 - maybe they will be playing with your daughter on the ship in the Oceaneers Club since they are so close in age. I just think this will be a perfect cruise for kids! Do you have any tips for us as we travel with the 3 little ones (it will be their 1st time on a plane, cruise, and Disney park)?!! I'm mostly wondering how the plane ride will go, although I fly all the time & have observed lots of kids doing just fine. I'm also interested to see how sleeping habits go-with the 3 hour time change and what nap/sleeping schedules will look like for the kids. Plus I really want our friends to have a great time-this is their first big family vacation & I want everyone to be able to relax & have fun.

We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas. It looks great, except the wierd clown pool :clown: we think that looks scary. My husband & I stayed at the Yacht club on our honeymoon & loved the pool area at the Yacht & Beach Club. We would like to stay there again, but couldn't get in there for DVC for 2 rooms at that time. We don't actually own the timeshare, just going through a friend, but we have thought about it. Are you DVC members?

:teacher: Kids are back from recess in 1 min, better get back to work...

The biggest piece of advice I can give is remember that you won't see everything and listen to the kids to know when breaks/naps are needed. There is nothing more sad than a parent yelling at a tired kid in the parks. (not that your friends would but we all have our moments). They are not at home and not on their schedule so optimize the times that they are awake and happy and rest and relax when they are not. I am a DVC owner and my daughter is going to be 4 and has been to disney 4 times so I hav a little experience!::yes:: With the plane just make sure the baby is sucking on take off and landing and have lollipops or gum for the older ones to help with their ears. My daughter loved the weird clown pool.:cutie: I own at BWV it is a little too busy there for me, but it is fun!!:thumbsup2 I used to be a teacher before I started staying home:teacher: What do you teach?? Well I hope you have fun if you want to ask anything else feel free. This is my 1st disney cruise but is the 3rd cruise for my daughter. Can you tell I am addicted to travel?:crazy2:
