I just finished it! I don't think I have ever read anything as fast! LOVED IT! But, I'm not going to read the third one until we get on vacation . . . I am worried I am missing too much good planning time with my head buried in a book! I have been such a hermit the last two days . . . I even refused to go to lunch with someone at work today so I could get reading!!
You sound like me. I have been lost in books since I was about 8.
Over here (it was probably the same in the US) they released all the Harry Potter books at midnight. Poor Tony!!! There we were in line at midnight to colllect mine, and then he had to try sleep with the lights on as I was up all night reading!!!
Will look out for these Sookie Stackhouse books!
As for recommendations, I don't usually read much sci-fi / fantasy stuff apart from Harry Potter and now Twilight (I am more a crime / murder girl!!) but I read Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell a couple of years ago - that was sort of a grown up Harry Potter and I really enjoyed it!

Its by Susanna Clarke.
We travel next week. NEXT WEEK! I am so unready! And I keep worrying about what I will miss on here once I am gone!!!
I am British, so I need a bit of advance notice to build myself up to a hug

I think you have given me enough time though, so hug away!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have talked my friend who will be on the cruise into reading them as well. Of course she is the worlds slowest reader (only finished the last Harry Potter a few months ago

) so we will have to leave her out of our chat! It will be months before she discovers the pure joy of Edward!
I KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
