I just prepaid my basic tips ($165.00 for the two of us), plus prepaid what I expect to be all our onboard costs. I know it is silly, but it feels "free" to me if I pay it before I go! I am so, so, so ready to go cruising now.

Can you do this by credit card??? I'd like to do it also, but I'm not sure who to call and how if works.. That is a wonderful idea!

my mom got her docs too! What's up with that?? We haev the same TA and everything!

if you have a ta, call and they will add on the tips and you can prepay with a cc. if you booked with DCL call them.

Yep, that is what I did: called my TA, gave her my CC number and asked her to prepay the tips, plus the dollar figure I had calculated to cover our other costs. No cruise documents in our mailbox today.

I think this may happen (or at least I'm hoping it will happen to us). Lynsey will have some space available on her navigator for possible cabin changes. I'd suggest that if you find your cabin has been changed, please let both Lynsey and myself know. I will keep a log and post it outside of our cabin. Lynsey will you make the changes to any navigators that you have left? Maybe we should create a logo to put on our doors to indicate that we are part of this specific FE group? Then if the logo isn't on the cabin door that we think it should be on then we can just wait to confirm the cabin number. I'll try and figure something out.

Yes, I'll keep updating the cabin room list until I print the mini-navs out a few days prior to the cruise. I will be having space on the nav to write in notes, but I'll also bring a white out tape pen and write in any changes for the navs that haven't been given out! That's a great idea about all of us marking our doors. I mean the FE by the door will be a big sign but I think I'll use the design Cinda posted a long time back to make into a magnet!

Should you choose NOT to read the Twilight series before the cruise, you, Lynsey, and I can form our own support group! I'm very, very interested in them, but can't get "hooked" right now!

Love them! And Amanda you have quite the bling on your hand, very pretty. Do you think if we use a thin tipped sharpie markie if you fill in the lettering? Or that might look silly, I'd be afraid to try it and it not work. Hmmm, maybe if we have extras on the ship I'll buy another one just to give it a trial run.

I can't beleive it's only 4 weeks away, wow so much to do! No docs for us today either, that must be so exciting for those of you that received yours!

I finally got my mary jane water shoes from lands end today, after ordering and returning and reording a different size, lol! I'm happy though now that they are in, I think they are soo cute, I just hope that work well when I'm actually walking in them! I also finally found some shorts that fit right, over the past couple weeks I've only tried on like 100 different pairs from every known store and they were either too short, too tight in the legs, too long, too big in the waist, well you get the idea so as a last resort I decided to try out Cato. I've never bought anything there and was a little hesitant but success, I even bought 2 pairs while I was at it. I'm not sure what was happening this year because I have short from Old Navy and American Eagle that I like a lot from the past few years, but this year they just weren't working for me! Good luck for everyone else shopping this weekend!

We have been to Disney twice during Christmas. Nothing like it. We really liked the Osborn lights.

GO DUCKS GO!!!

Im a BIG BIG BIG Ducks fan!!! For over 10 years!! The sharks are a great team, but the ducks can beat them!!!! In fact im watching it now...

Yeah, yeah...the sharks sucked wind last night. If we lose this series we'll root with you for the Ducks on the cruise if they get to that round. Ok, Jim says that he'll watch the games and drink, but he doesn't knoe if he can root for the ducks.

I am putting our FE gifts all together tomorrow, I have to plough back through the last few pages and get everyones room numbers first!

I was going to send out the list on Sunday, but I can send it out today instead. No need for you to wade through everything.

What a great idea. I will have to call DVC to find out if we can do that. I also want to check to see if we'll get back our gas surcharge. That would take care of the tips!

I was able to get one step further on my FE gifts! I'd say I'm 60% done. I'm going to be taking Monday off (just because I have PTO days that I can use up and I need a mental break). I'm hoping to get my FE 90% done and finish up my FE pockets. May even start to pack up some of my clothes.

We are supposed to have a beautiful weekend here (in the 80s - possibly even in the 90s)


Maybe I'll take my projects outside and work in the sunshine.

I've made about 6 or so magnets for our door and some for a few others! I'm all out of magnetic paper, so I guess that means I'm done! One of mine is of the "group magnet" I made and I happen to have one extra printing due to a printer "user error..." If you want it, you are welcome to it! I'll even put it on your door for you... Glad you got your shoes! I love mine, though they don't have quite as much arch support as I was hoping for. The good news is that I don't have to walk too far on this trip anyway!

I didn't get my docs today, but I did buy insurance! I hate to buy it, but I won't travel on a ship without medical evacuation coverage! It cost us right around $100 for both of us, which I thought wasn't too terrible for the coverage we are getting. Here's hoping we don't need it!

According to her blog, she's getting better but it's not a quick process. She is able to move 3 of her fingers well now and the other 2 are slowly getting better. She was started on a second antibiotic in hopes of moving things along, though was still ideally finishing them today. Hopefully, she'll be perfect by cruise time!

Lynsey -- so glad your shoes fit well! I love mine, they are so so so comfy! Of course, haven't tried them wet so we shall see. I can understand about shorts. I have real trouble finding some that fit right without getting baggy after wearing for a few hours or that fit right everywhere else but still make me look like I have poopy pants!

The What to Expecting book was my bible. I like the first year book two -- great books!

Sonya -- totally get the whole WDW thing during Xmas. I would love to go during Xmas. I don't know how long the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot runs but it sure would be fun to catch that too. I visited then years and years ago with me ex-husband but it was not near the blast it would be now with Yoni. I still dream of visiting again during that time.

Ok, I am beat -- hope the cruise docs come tomorrow!

Thanks for the concern. I'm doing MUCH better today. I went to the DR and I can get my IV out tomorrow!!! WOO HOO!! That means I will have full use of my right hand and can drive. I've been going stir crazy!
I can use 3 fingers on my left hand and can kinda bend my other 2. I can now hold things in my left if they are light, but still no pressure.
I'll be continuing oral antibiotics for another week and then re-evaluate. Starting hydro therapy as well. Infection sure did a number on my tendons.

I sure hope we get our cruise docs soon. This weekend we will be filling out our online forms.
GREAT tip about paying your tips in advance. I'm so going to set that up on Monday. The less cash I have on me for paying tips/excursions...the better! hehe

Hopefully starting magnets next weeks. I still need to finish Demetris FE, but need my left hand in order to sew! UGH! Got the rest of our FE Gifts supplies, now to just put them together.

I am in on the non Twilight book readers group... I have stacks of books that I have been buying over the years I need to read first! Besides the whole concept is not something I am a fan of! Unfortunately, Survivor is not one of my favorites either... Sorry.

It is POURING here. Yucky, gloomy, dark. Not really helping to get me that base tan I was hoping for before the cruise. I guess the good thing is I can work on magnets and FE gifts ....as soon as I finish Breaking Dawn

Good Morning Carole!!! It's ok. I had to be dragged into the Twilight series but seriously hadn't read much except for Harry Potter for years. It is just hard to find the time when the kids are really small. Now that they are getting older, I can really start to enjoy a good book! Don't apologize for not being a Survivor fan. I am sure there are many things I AM a fan of that I should apologize for!
