Hi all!!

Back from our visit to the Out-laws. Have sworn not to go again for at least a year - had an utterly ghastly time. Am so happy to be home with our angel dogs!

I have a lot of pages to catch up on, will do so tomorrow! Just wanted to say "hi" to JorDan though - have read your blog you poor, poor thing. What a terrible experience - I do hope you are starting to feel a little bit better I wish I could send you a kinder egg to help with the pain.

I woke up this morning to an easter egg hunt laid on by "the dogs" (Tony is an angel sometimes!!). I have 4 eggs. Needless to say spent most of this afternoon in a sugar coma!! We put the new James Bond file on, and I only saw about the first 10 minutes!

I am hoping to start working on our door magnets, I have seen a few posts here on the Dis of graphics, where else is a good site? Or are their posts with a lot of different graphics??

If you go to the "Just for Fun" forum section, right at the bottom is a section called "Dis-signs", there are loads of designs is here you can print off, or if you want something specific just ask and someone will more than likely do it for you. They did my dog magnet for me last week!

HAPPY EASTER TO MY DIS PEEPS!! ​

With Easter here and absolutely NO willpower over Reese's PB eggs,

I'll be bringing black & brown sandals (similar to that pic) to wear during the day and when I wear capris at night and then my strappy dress shoes for slacks & dresses. Then I'll need my exercise shoes, too, for all those early morning DIS walks!!

Reese's eggs????! I come from such a deprived nation.

Regarding shoes . . . I will be bringing loads. I am out of control with shoes. Cayman crocs, capri crocs, day flip flops, evening flip flops, evening strappys (x2), exercise shoes . . . I may leave my Mary Jane crocs at home, but no promises!!!

did you guys know you can prepay for your photo package? They have the 164.95 one with the 10 8X10's and so many 6X8's, think I am going to prepay and if we need more, buy on the ship.

Oh no I didnt - where do you do that? The website?

The food sounds TERRIFIC!!!! Yumm yummm....calories on Easter Sunday don't count do they?

NO they certainly do not!! Just need to fiddle with the dial on the scales so they agree!

Jane -- can't wait to see the shirts. Let me know how they turn out and post pics. I bought fabric iron on but haven't tried it yet. Once I am done with taxes which should be TODAY!!!

Ok, here goes. Hope these come out. To explain the whole theme, Jim is a HUGE Adventurer's Club fan and was not happy when they closed PI. I thought that I would surprise him with a custom design and shirt for our anniversary. I was trying to keep it a secret, but that was proving to difficult (plus I wanted to get his thoughts on some things. Brendan's girlfriend Charlotte drew me the picture that is on our countdown calendar. I then had her draw me Mickey and Minnie dressed as characters from the club. Jim really liked the whole idea and the following is the end results. I still need to get the dark transfer paper to put the same design on our FE pouches. Sorry they are so huge. I'll try and resize..

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It's beautiful here but really chilly. The DH got me an easter card with mickey one the front that plays "When You Wish Upon A Star"!!! I've only opened it to hear the song 100 times already and think about the cruise. Although I did like my Cadburry Eggs. Mmmm. Just got home from church and finshing up the macaroni and cheese, ranch potato casserole, and 7-Up pound cake with berries for our family's Easter dinner later.

As you can tell and chance of healthy eating before the cruise is going to have to be ditched today.

The card sounds fantastic! What a good hubby. Your dishes sound delish. I've made a strawberry pie and need to put together a three bean salad and prep the roasted potatoes. I'm trying to make everything as healthy as possible since my mom and brother are diabetic. Gave up on the pie though sometimes you have to splurge.

Did I read somewhere that if you are staying at a Disney resort before the cruise, you can check in for the cruise at the resort?!

Thank you all so much for your kind words and pixie dust. We really appreciate it. It's been a tough 5 days and we have more ahead of us. I've put updates on our blog. It's easier to post in one place cause I really can't use both hands right now. I'm gaining a bit of movement in my left hand and have an IV on my right. UGH! I'm feeling pretty helpless.. other than that I feel really good today. I go to the Dr tomorrow for a checkup. Hopefully only have to do the IV treatments until Friday. It's a pain, Have to do it every 6 hours and it takes an hour each time.
My poor hubby!! He has alot on his plate. His grandma's funeral is Wednesday. Now his best friend has split from his wife and staying at our house! He really really needs this cruise.
Once I'm better I'm going to need your guys help and advice on something I can do for him. He needs a good surprise.

I'm very behind on getting things ready for the cruise. Chad is going to help me tomorrow with my FE gifts. He's being a great sport about it and really getting into it.

Demetris I hope to get better to finish your FE. Sorry for the wait!!!

Anyways, I will be reading the boards, but not posting so much cause it takes to long to type with 1 finger!!

Happy Easter!

I had a really nice day at my Mom's with my Brother and Sister-in-law and cousins family. My Mom's a full-blooded Italian and doesn't leave anyone hungry -- EVER. She made beef stew with egg noodles, stuffed shells with meatballs and Italian sausage, spinich casserole, asparagus, butternut squash, turnips and carrots baked in the oven, sauteed zuchinni and yellow squash, mashed potatoes, cauliflower and cheese sauce, ham, gravy, lamb (special gravy my brother made with fresh mint). And that was just the main buffet spread. For dessert she had chocolate cream pie with fresh whipped cream, plain bunt cake with strawberries and said optional cream, brownies, ice cream and cheesecake. My Mother can feed and army without blinking an eye!

It was all delicious. I'm sure she had enough that you could have all been there and there still would have been leftovers. The wine, beer and port was flowing and it was really fun.

I hope you all had a great Sunday!

that is only if you booked a land and sea vacation through Disney. We usually stay at WDW the nigth before a cruise and get room only and the cruise sep so we can't check in for both at the resort.

Has anyone got a cabin assignment yet? I am so ready!

My head isn't clear either!! We keep changing our minds about excursions - especially in Cozumel. I just cancelled some spa treatments that I had booked earlier. Good luck on your excursion figuring out, I am right there with you.

Easter was a lot of fun around here, DD had a blast and my parents were over to see the joy. Also we trained for the half marathon as well - was still pretty cold here over the weekend. But...on the bright side, at least I didn't gain weight over the weekend...that is a first.

We leave one month today for our trip!! Yippee!!!!

I have a huge "to do" list that I keep adding to because I don't want to forget anything. My family now realizes that because I am so prepared before the vacation we enjoy our vacation a lot more because of all the extra planning.

Oh -- I've also lost my voice. I'm a talker so it's a bummer. I wasn't even doing anything to hurt it. Just got sick and lost it. I hate not being able to talk. Luckily I know some sign language
