We are home also. Even though we didnt meet any of you with the exception of meeting Val at the very last night at the shudders kiosk. I do have to say The Disgirl group did a great at Kareoke...lol I didnt know it was you guys until Dave called your name as a group. Then I started to recognize faces from the pictures on here but forgot first names and felt kinds silly calling you all by your screen names. I do appoligize for not introducing myself. You guys were great singing and looked like you had loads of fun. We did not book another cruise just yet. We are planning a Dec trip to Disney world The kids are looking forward to that. I hope everyone arrives home safe. Back to reality Blech

Hi everyone!!!! We made it home yesterday and got a jump start on laundry. It's all washed and about half is folded. Back to work tomorrow. Ugh. I don't have anyone to cover for me while I'm gone, so I'll have six days' worth of dictation to do for 4 docs & a PT (plus what will pile up as I'm getting caught up!). Yikes!! I doubt I'll be back on here until I'm all caught up.

What an awesome vacation!! We all got to do all the things we wanted to do...and more!! The boys were SO excited that we won the Mickey Mania trivia game one night! I think that was the highlight of the whole trip for them! Oh, the FE gifts were a highlight also!! Thanks so much for all the stuff from everyone! What an awesome way to connect with everyone! You guys are THE BEST!! I really wish I would've been able to meet everyone and even spend some more time with those that we did meet. But, we just can't do it all.

We rebooked also--the same dummy date as everyone else (Dec 4, 2010)! Hey! Maybe we should all just keep that date scheduled! Naaaah. I want a spring trip again! Justin isn't sure he wants to cruise again, so we may end up cancelling at some point, but my idea is to go in three years when the boys will both be in the same age group again. We'll see...

Well, I'm off to bed. I'll check back in to post pix, etc., after I get all caught up on work--hopefully sometime next week. Maybe I can scurry through it and finish by the end of the week so I can get back here faster!! Just because the cruise has ended doesn't mean the thread or our friendships have to end!

Ugh -- reality is setting in.

We made it home about noon yesterday after 2 fabulous days at WDW (AK and MK). It was a nice way to end the cruise. I got all unpacked and am heading to the grocery store after I drop the kids off to school.

I am not ready for work but am glad to be home (I am always happy to be home after a long vacation).

It was great meeting everyone and I am sorry for those I missed. I thought I would have more time to sit and chat with folks but I guess things don't work out like you think.

We interacted with so many but still missed so many of you. Thanks to all of you for making our cruise special.

We did not rebook. Yoni really is not into cruises (he hates the time schedule). I have to admit, it was a lot of work BUT I promised Sabrina we would go again just me and her. Maybe we will join you guys in 2011? For now, I am going to look at a 4 day RCI cruise out of Galveston to see if we can travel well without the boys. She just bawled the last day and I will admit, I shed some tears there too.

IF any of you ever makes it down to Austin, let me know. We would love to see you again.

I don't know if we can keep this thread alive but would love to. I may write a trip report but didn't take notes so it will be short but sweet. Anyone else writing one?

Ok -- now to get ready for work (YUCK).......

I am going through major withdrawal from seeing all my DIS friends . I keep thinking........last week at this time we were with so-and-so, doing such-and-such.......... . I truly felt like we were cruising with a group of very good friends. Even Brian, who was a bit skeptical of the DIS boards admitted that everyone was really nice and great to hang around with. He even said that he really liked the fish extender exchange . Jake and Johnny LOVED the candy that they got in their fish extender (thanks to JorDan for making our adorable FEs ).

I really hope that we will be able to cruise with some of the DISers on the inaugural Fantasy voyage in 2012. I'm a bit of a planner, so this will be fun ! I've already asked JorDan which dining seating they prefer . Never too early to think about the details ! ~ Kathy

WOO HOO!!! Let's take over the 2012 Inaugural cruise!!! Even though it'll be TWICE as big as the magic.
I'm dreading going out to run erronds today, lots to do. All I want to do is go lay by the pool!! Was thinking about Karaoke in the shower this morning.

I've been back since Sat. and have been trying to stay in "vacation mode" and away from my computer until I had to come into work. I think I've done a good job at it until now at work, reality has set in and I am back to the real world.

I enjoyed meeting you all and had a wonderful time talking to you. Thanks so much for all of the great FE gifts. Chelsea was very happy and excited when she checked the pockets. Sorry to cause you guys extra work finding our room since we were the other upgrade at the port. But our balcony room was soooo worth it.

It was really nice knowing I could walk around the ship and where ever I went would bump into people I knew. It was really cool.

We didn't re-book onboard since we already have another cruise booked for Oct. on NCL. We are waiting to see what the new Disney ships look like when they come out and have decided that after our cruise in Oct. the next one we take will have to be the mega-ship Oasis of the Seas. We might not be cruising Disney again until 2012. But, since we are DVC owners, we will be in the parks again!

Alright, back to work and another dose of reality...

So sad to be back at work.... I think I've been on land long enough. I'm ready to get back on the ship.

I am trying to find out the name and what was in the drink I had at Castaway Cay. I "think" it was called a stinger and it had pineapple juice, rum and something else. It was kinda orange in color and was garnished with a lime.

Anyone else have one. SOoooo yummy.

Yay Chasity !! That would be great if you and Gus join Brian and me on The Fantasy in 2012 with JorDan, Chad and baby Tripp .
I'm just hoping that the sail date is such that Jake and Johnny can go too. They had soooooo much fun on the cruise. Johnny thanked me many times (as did my "baby" Jake , what good boys I have). Is there a DIS cruise meets thread for the inaugural Fantasy sailing yet? ~ Kathy

Formal night is Monday- First day at sea
Pirate Night is Tuesday- Grand Cayman
Semi Formal- for us was on Wednesday (Our day at Sea since we didn't go to Cozumel and went to Nassau)
