Ok -- so ladies, you should have told me. I am looking like an idiot for the Sookie Stackhouse books everywhere in the airport. No luck so I bought another book to read on the flight home. Then, I see this book by someone else and it little tiny print it says "A Sookie Stackhouse novel" and I am thinking Gosh Darn it. Of course it was the 9th book in the series so not a good place to start but still -- thought I was nuts looking for Sookie in that place!!!!

JorDan -- you'll have to tell me if you think Sabrina can read them. She loves Harry Potter so hoping I can pass these on to her when I am done. I guess I should order them huh? Do they sell them at costco?

Oops!! yeah I did the same thing at the Library looking for them. Then I saw them on Amazon. A good thing to remember is EVERY title of a Sookie Stakhouse book has the word "Dead" in it.

Unless you want to have hte birds & bee's discussion with Sabrina, I would NOT recommend it. It's very graphic sexually. It's like rated R compared to Twilight. haha but I like them

I just finished my cruise magnets (still need to cut them out) and Chris' b-day custom t-shirts for when we're in Disney. I've been a busy little worker bee today and I still have a ton more stuff to do.

Passport is in the mail according the the State website. Now I just have to get it in time before I leave on Sunday.

Does anyone know if the CVS mentioned in Key West sells wine and beer? In Maryland they don't, but I think in FL they can sell that stuff in stores, right? That might be a good spot to pick up some "supplies" for the room. Does anyone know of a better spot in Key West? I haven't been there before. Thanks.

I don't know about that CVS, but yes in FL wine & beer are sold in stores. Keep in mind that we'll be in Key West on a Sunday and there may be some hour restrictions.

I don't remember seeing the Sookie Books when I looked in Costco. The probably now have jus the latest one, since it's a new release. most book stores carry them. Amazon has nice prices, but at this point it would mean accelerated shipping. I ended up even upgrading the stuff I bought several days ago because it was getting too close for comfort.

And yes, I totally agree with SF regarding those books. I had mentioned this back on the first half of this thread. They may even at times even NC-17ish. It got a little more that way as the books went on.

Bill--the closest klp to the pier is just steps away from the boat!! There's 2 pie shops in kw--kermit's & blonde giraffe. Kermit's is sold at an ice cream shop really close to the pier, but they also have a store elsewhere. I think jane had the addresses to kermit's & several blonde giraffes at one time. I "drew" a map awhile ago to the polar bear ice cream shop, so let me see if i can find it again. Stay tuned...

What is REAS?

I just got a call from DCL -- soooo exciting! They were confirming our REAS package and all of the details. The good thing is she told me if they change our itinerary before we go, I can call her to change our Palo res and she gave me a direct number to them. I am worried our Palo night will interfere with pirate night. Anyways -- if anyone else booked this package, that is something that might help!!!!

I couldn't even get a reservation for Palo at all. We booked too late. I guess I'll have to try on the ship, since it's a restaurant I'd probably actually be willing eat at (the rest of them are scaring me a little). That's a cool idea, doing Palo the night of your ann. I think ours is Pirate Night though and that seems to be bad for Palo.

Kim your FE is sharp looking. Really nice!

I've looked at a bunch of sample menus. It's all "weird" food to me. Lots of fish, mango soup (if there was a green face i'd use it here ) and other bizarre things. I wasn't too happy when I looked at the sample menus after booking. It made me less excited when I booked a month ago, but I know there's always something to do if there's nothing I want to eat on the regular menu. Maybe the veg. dish on some nights, maybe the kids menu if they let me, or I'll just eat before or after outside the main DRs.
