Bummer, just checked, I did not win the lotto so I guess I have to work this week.

She's doing really good already. The lady we got her from had all the puppies crate trained. She said that she would open the cage and they would all go out and do their thing on the porch and they would come back in and go right in the crate. John (Hez's boyfriend) had a crate still from his old dog so he brought it over. We let her run around. She only had two pee pee accidents on my kitchen floor and that has been since Friday. We take her on the porch constantly and she barks to go outside and do #2. She really has been easy to train. Only one problem, she is a chewer. We had to get treats, dog bones, and those chewy chips for her or she would eat my furniture. Don't worry Glenn, Mike would never part with her. She is way better than Ladi was and she is really really friendly

I really should find something to occupy my time instead of day dreaming about cruise docs!

My, my, weren't we a chatty bunch!! I went to Denver for the weekend, but before I left, my hubby brought in the mail....YES!!! Cruise docs!!!!!! Hooooray!! Doesn't it just make it official!?!?

Speaking of dogs, does anyone else have to wait til the last minute to pack, coz the dogs get neurotic when they see luggage?!? (That's our story x3!!)

This will be our second cruise on Disney! We got back last year and just had to book for this year! Hope we can see all there! By the way...how early does the check in open?

AGalla9394- Welcome aboard the winter recovery cruise!! This will be my family’s second DCL cruise also and we can’t wait for May to get here! I believe parking opens around 10:00 and check in typically opens around 10:30, can anyone verify that?

Welcome aboard AGalla and JanPrincess. This will be my first cruise so I am not sure what time check in is. I think it is 10:30'ish. My kids and I are really looking forward to it. Looks like MOST people have their docs. Sorry Scottie. I think just when you are ready to give it all up and go on a search and rescue mission for them, they will show up.

On our first cruise, we stayed at the Radisson at the Port, and took the shuttle. We were on the 1020, and there weren't many people in the terminal...great for taking pics, but I, personally didn't find much to do. I didn't need a snack after having a buffet breakfast, and certainly didn't need one before getting on a cruiseship! ;-)

There were people checking in, but they also have people that try to intercept you at some work stations like they have in banks, to go over your paperwork so everything is ready when you get in line. We were bored to death at the terminal, so we've never gotten there that early again.

They start letting people on the ship just after noon, if all is going well, and there are VERY few chairs, with none in "line". I decided I didn't need the back problems I get sitting on the floor, another reason we don't get to the terminal too early.

Hello everyone:
I have read a lot that you may be at the port as early as 10:30am. But my docs says that the embarkation time is 1:00pm.

Of course, as a first time cruiser, we will be there early in the morning (at least 10:31 am)

JanPrincess- you can count on seeing at least a few of us at the port bright and early with you!
We can get into the terminal around 10:30ish hopefully. Actual boarding of the ship should start around 12. I have not heard of any recent cruises boarding as late as the docs read, 1pm. Lets keep our fingers crossed that we get an extra early boarding call!!

Scottie, I have a large supply of floodlights. I am searching high and low for them. I can understand why Scott H doesnt have his yet....SNOW....Disney docs are allergic to it.

Oh my...what a great surprise we got when we arrived home late last night....OUR DOCUMENTS!! MY DD asked mom...Can I look at my name on the documents....I just watch her eyes light up when she viewed it....We're from NYC and it's raining today after having 80 degree weather this weekend....I can't wait to leave and embark on our first Mother and Daugther cruise!!

Sam70- I am happy to hear your docs arrived and that your DD was overjoyed with their arrival!! I was just thinking that she might enjoy the surprise of receiving a signed pillowcase or t-shirt, etc. near the end of the cruise. I am completing pillowcases to give to guest services for our kids.

You'll probably see us, for sure...just look for the big black Lab with me hanging onto him....
By the way, did you remind Disney of your previous Disney cruise so you can get Castaway Club privileges? I've got two Disney cruises this year and I'm really curious about the procedure for notifying them so I can get my free present in the stateroom when I arrive in December....
