May 16, 2004 / 4 Day Wonder

How fun! You've definitely got lots of "new ground to cover" at Disney. I think Mission Space is the most intense ride I've been on, and I'll ride ANYTHING!

Are you going to ride The Hulk at Islands of Adventure? It packs quite a wallop, too!

That's THE ride where I found out my husband appreciated that I was a ride weenie!! With the patch, I got off and wanted to do it again before we got our "stuff" out of the locker.....he didn't go for it!!! ;-) He plans to be the official "stuff" holder this trip.....

As much as I enjoyed the Hulk, front row on Fire or Ice is better! Of course, the only time we've done them was in early December....the lines will probably be incredible next month!

Maybe, we'll let Keith be the official "stuff holder while holding place in line" guy this trip! ;-)

That darned patch ruined everything for him, didn't it?

I know I rode Fire and Ice a "bazillion" times in 2000, but for some reason I can't remember ANYTHING aboout what kind of ride I had on it. I'm supposedly too young to have such lapses in my memory. Maybe it was all that falling down?

You haven't lived til you try to pull your feet up while going WAY fast coz you think the guy coming at you has REALLY long legs!! I really hope we can do the front row at least once!!

;-)

Its good that the hallways have railings to hang onto...have you heard what the comedian on the ship says? When the seas are rough, the only people walking straight down the hall are the drunks?!? Everyone else is bouncing off the walls, but the drunks never touch the walls!!! ;-)

ttfn! Kelli

The comedian is absolutely right!

It reminds me of MANY years ago when my older sister reached age 21. She went out to have some drinks to celebrate her "coming of age." She drank more than she should have, but she had a very interesting side effect of intoxication. She could walk STRAIGHT. This was quite something because she actually had brain tumors that had caused her to lose much of her ability to balance. But that night she was as sure-footed as an alley cat!

It's been a joke among my sisters (not shared with the parents, of course) ever since!

Long week here and still no documents, oh well, we can always stowaway should they not arrive in time.

Amy, have a great trip. Lucky you. I am sure you will. We all wish were were leaving sooner.

Weebles wobble and they don't fall down might be an alternate theme for this group.

Kelli, Mission Space is pretty neat you all will enjoy, if your patch dosn't fall off.

I want to start packing now, I know it is early but hate to be rushed right before we leave, never know what the week before might bring.

Got a note from my TA yesterday...He's got the documents and is sending mine out by FEDEX ...I'll have 'em in no time....
Hope you get yours soon!

My reservations for Dolphin Encounter and Blue Lagoon Beach Day both came through so Cash and I'll be busy in Nassau so we can lounge around the ship until Castaway Cay day...

Ooooo, I can hardly wait....

Annae.. Where shall I meet you to ante up for the Palo dinner and brunch reservations?

Well our weather is kinda cold, wet and cloudy. We do need some draught relief. I can at least dream of CC. Today is my one day off this week and nothing really scheduled. Will have to see what Lynn has planned. Gotta fill a couple of SCUBA tanks. Might start putting our stuff together for the trip. Will definately get teh dog for a noce long walk.

I am sure I am not the only one green with envy of Amy, as she heads to WDW.

Starting to see some blue sky and there is some fresh snow up high.

I can not wait to see the sun rise from Deck 10 of the Wonder, and feel the salt air. Soon I know soon.

Its supposed to be 75 here today. Sunny and warm, finally. 80 on Monday. Just a pre-cruise tease because, I am in New Jersey and the weather will get cold again. The countdown timer is moving along pretty good. Before you know it.....DISNEY.

Enjoy your great weather.

Yep you are very correct the countdown timers are getting smaller. This is good. Pretty soon we will be at the three week mark. Sounds better to me than one whole month.

The one and only official "I'm in WDW and you're not" post. All gloating stops...now! Okay....now! Okay, really I'm done this time.

I'll be back Friday! Out the door, bye!

Gloat away, you deserve it. Yes we wish we were there, But alas soon all our countdown timers will be hasta la bye bye and we will be "on our way." Just like the Brother Bear Phil Collins song. We hope you are having a great time.

Lynda: Since we are all supposed to meet each other around 3:00 or so on the boat, we'll just meet up then and i'll tell you about the reservation then. Don't worry, I hope to be one of the first few people in line. We picked up our cruise documents yesterday from the TA FINALLY!!! Just didn't have the time to get there to pick them up.

Glenn: Is mom and dad home? Mike wants to talk to dad about training our new puppy

I tried to post a picture of our puppy but just can not get the hang of what to do. Will maybe try later at home.

Good luck training, we have the paper thing down at this tiem and are getting pretty close on asking to go out. 10 week old Malamute.
