May 16, 2004 / 4 Day Wonder

Looking at the Cruise board I noticed that folks are getting their documents for mid April cruises. This is a lot better than the 7-10 days prior, back when they started DCL. Would be nice to have those documents in my little paws just to be comforted by the thought that a fun time is on the horizion.

I never heard of the brunch. Can you make two reservations? I wouldn't mind the brunch and dinner. Lynda, you'll get your dinner reservation by me don't worry! As for the disney dollars, my boys have been getting 10.00 each just about every week or two. They have $105.00 each right now. They are very excited about spending their new found fortune at disney world!

I just stumbled across a thread about the brunch being available for the 4-day...I don't know how many of the on-board activities will be up my alley and when I saw the Palo brunch I immediately thought that was something I'd enjoy more than trying to get out of the swimming pool (don't do ladders any more) or watching a movie...could do that at home...
I think the brunch is separate from the dinner...but I had no idea of its available/not available status.
Anna...I trust your generous offer to sign me up for the dinner...LOL...I'm just looking for info about things I think I'll be able to do...aside from lounging on the verandah, that is...:)

Speaking od Mickey money...I was trying to figure out a way to scrounge extra change and I suddenly got an early refund from American Airlines to pay me back for the damage they did to my scooter in January....Here I thought it would take YEARS to collect....:hyper:

I would love to have cruise docs in my hands too! Makes the days up to the actual sailing go faster.

I just read that the brunch, if scheduled, is $10 p/p

Just made the final payment:sunny: . Now the wait for the docs.

Did everyone book with a travel agent or directly with disney? We used a travel agent. Our final payment is due on the 14th of this month.

I used a travel agent and paid off the cruise two weeks ago...
ALSO:
A quick note - brunch at Palo is only available during the 7-day Magic cruises, not on the Wonder. Just something to keep in mind as you make plans.

BOOHOOBOOHOO!

So they finally announced that the trial run of brunch on the Wonder was not successful? If that is the case it is too bad for us May 16th cruisers:(

The temp here is about 20' and the snow is a flying . Looks like we got at least three inches last night. Malamute puppies are wrestling. They are fun to watch. It is just too much like winter. We are looking so forward to making a move to FL in a year or so.

Have SCUBA classes to teach this weekend. That is a bright spot.

Hey anyone want to buy a snowblower, it comes with a free house.

Sorry to rant guys, just a mild case of cabin fever.

I hear you Scott! It was 75 here yesterday and will be snowing by tomorrow based on the weather reports. Get me on the cruise asap
:boat:

Snowing here now, lost most of the snow yesterday with the 2" of rain we had. BTW Scott, you can hold SCUBA class in the lake that is now my backyard :hyper: .

Brett,

No problem if it is deep enough and students don't mind wearing dry suits.

Sounds like we better hurry or we will be cutting a hole in the ice.:)

I think we are all set in the way of photo taking for the trip. I bought a new 256mb card and card reader for our digital camera today at Office Max for a good deal. We may end up buying a new video camera before we leave too.

Hello all. I will be cruising on 16 May with my DD 14, DD 12 and DS 12. This is our first cruise and we are really looking forward to it. See you all onboard..

Just looked up the mousears, free wheeling site. Looks like a great tour has been planned. Do you know how many folks will be attending with this group? I think it is great.

I just posed your question to Chet and he says so far there are seven guests signed up. I don't know how many of the activity directors there are for the group but I suppose, in the end there might be a total of fifteen in this group.....just a hunch....
Deb is scheduled to join up with the group on Friday the 14 at Mara (AKL) for refreshments and a pre-cruise meet. :wave2:
