I think there are a total of 16 cabins in FE (so 15 plus your cabin).

Looks like there are a lot of BCers on the boat!

I have updated your cabin number - there are a total of 15 cabins in the FE including yours (13 officially +2 if you can). So if you were doing all of them - you would plan for 14 cabins.

Ok..I was trying to post the FE list I made up but it isn't posting correctly. If you would like a copy of the list - please send me your email address in a PM.

Thanks!

Hi Rillsung Family
I was just wondering where you are from.
Travelling with 3 boys....I am having fun shopping for your 3 girls
Colleen and Sheila

I wound up making my own list, so I won't need it, but I wanted to verify that the cabin numbers in the first post were accurate? And I have two people left with GTY status, at the moment?

That is what I have as well. Hopefully we will know soon!

We are still listed as OGT and it is driving me crazy. Hopefully we get it soon!

I'm having fun too. Even though we have 2 girls they are 18 and 12. I miss shopping for the younger ones. So I enjoyed picking things out for your girls :)

Ok!
Dismeet - Tangeroa Terrace/Trader Sam area. I will bring along a couple Dis-green balloons so you can find us! If we can snag the fireplace area - we will. If you get there before me - snag the fireplace area! :rotfl2:
How about 5:30 - ? - that way we have time to eat and chat.
I'm getting so excited!
Wish we could joing everyone at the meet, but I have to host a party at the Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum that evening. Sunday is reserved for trying to pack without the guys figuring it out.

I would like the copy, do you still have my PM? Once I get it, I can sort it and order it by cabin, sides, etc for those who would like.

Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

train lovers here ... what about that steamers rr museum?? we r flying in the ninth and thought we'd stay at disney and drive about ...

Hi everyone,

I've been watching the boards and trying to keep up on Facebook (thanks for getting a "group" set up there!!), but working 60+ hours a week the last two months keeps me from having a normal life (translated to mean normal human contact). :headache:

Anyway, counting down the days for sure!! We're staying in Vancouver for a few days after the cruise and wonder if anyone has suggestions for a Choice-brand hotel (Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, Roadway, EconoLodge, etc), near the port, or the airport, or outside of the city a little. Yes, we'll have a rental car. Since we've never been to Vancouver, I want to be sure we're in a place that is relaxing and safe. We're planning to use our hotel points for free nights so that's why we're asking about this brand specifically. (More money for souveniers!! :yay: )

If we get to Anaheim in time, we're up for a meet at Trader Sam's.

Thanks and looking forward to our three week vacation!!

I have your PM but it doesn't list an emailed address. If you want to PM me your email address I will forward the list to you.

Thanks!

There is a Quality Hotel Downtown on Howe Street that is in a pretty good location. It is not super close to the port (maybe a 10 minute cab ride?). You can walk from there to Robson Street and just across the bridge is Granville Island.

I think there is also a Comfort Inn Downtown but I have no experience with that hotel.

Hi Terri! We are from Vancouver BC. Have you ever visited anywhere in Canada before.

Colleen

Clean cup, clean cup, everyone move down... Our cabins were changed from 6010 to 6516 and my parents were moved from 6510 to 6518 so please adjust any FE lists/rosters you may have. Now all I have to do is make the magnets and get everything together without the guys finding out!

The museum is the Los Angeles Live Steamer's museum (www.lals.org) and is a working layout of 1/8th equipment. It is located about 45 minutes north of D-land just off the 5 freeway by the LA Zoo. It is also home to the Disney Barn and the Carolwood Pacific. Normally it is only open to the public on Sundays from 11AM to 3PM, but if anyone is interested, they can join me as my guests on that Sat or Sunday prior to sailing. Just PM me to get in contact.

I have your PM but it doesn't list an emailed address. If you want to PM me your email address I will forward the list to you.

Thanks!

PM Sent. Thank you.

Last year, we stayed at the Best Western Uptown. Nice room, near the main train station, just off the skytrain and bus routes, free breakfast in the mornings, internet, local restaurants, about 150 CND.
