After waiting, I got a call from Disney air and the price they quoted was outrageous. I do have a hold on a reservation with air out of atlanta but I am not sure if my BFF is going to want to drive that far. So we will find out. Plus, one night in a hotel in Barcelona after the cruise is around 500 for the three of us. !!!!! She and I will have to talk. Maybe I will be coming, maybe not. My DD is really wanting to go, we must decide in the next 24 hours. My doctor today did tell me to take a nice long vacation this summer, that I needed it. I think I will keep this doctor.

It will be me, DH, DD (17), DS (15), DS (13) & DD (11). This will be our 14th cruise. We did the 1st Transatlantic in 2007.

My youngest DD is excited to see the barbary apes in Gibraltar again! This was her favorite thing last time.

Sorry to say I don't know anything about them, but I did see that rate - looked the best I've seen so far. We decided to book DCL air & then it's now waitlisted for the Hyatt pre-cruise night for west coasters...so waiting again to hear from them. So confusing to know which to book!

Did you ever get your DCL Air finalized??? We are trying to book from the West Coast and are on hold until someone can verify hotel availability on Monday....Can they confirm the air without the Hyatt???? Our TA says the Hyatt is available to book separately....we really just want the West Coast to FL and BCN to West Coast air...........

Yes, we did get it set up, finally! DCL just called the hotel & verified availability, then gave us 24 hours to say yay or nay. The problem is, if you stay at the Hyatt on your own, the air is not aligned with it, so best to let them coordinate it all if you're using their air. Then we ended up paying a deviation fee to set it up to come back a couple days later, so got another 24 hrs to decide on that... It sounds more complicated than it is, lol, but still was the best price we found, given all that it includes.

Good luck with it - hopefully the rates will still be good & it is just so streamlined to have it all coordinated. :]

Hi all, this is one of Missy's BFF's (there's 4 of us) but I happen to be the one coming on this cruise! It was a very late booking type thing for me as we usually book our cruises like 2 years out, and I am traveling with no kids and no husband. (yes I am worried about 2 weeks away from them). So I will have Missy and Ross to prop me up, and now the rest of ya!

Wow I'm Worried: Announced Airport Strikes in Spain
I just got word thru one of my cruise meets posters that there has been an announcement of proposed airport strikes in Spain, starting in April and going thru August. They have specified particular dates for the strike. Right now, my date is not one listed for August. But, this has me really worried. I also have a feeling this will NOT cause Disney to cancel the cruises, as people still can get to the port by car. Lets hope this all gets resolved soon!!!

The dates specified are 20, 21, 24, 25 and 30 April; 2, 14, 15, 19 and 20 May; 13, 23 and 30 June; 1, 2, 3, 4, 15 and 31 July; and 1, 15 and 31 August.

Well if I HAVE to stay in Europe longer, I could figure out a few more places to visit......I would just recommend travel insurance.

I read all the posts on this thread to get caught up on everything. Now I just have to decide what we want to participate it and get signed up on the spreadsheet. I also want to let someone know who would be planning the lanyards that we want some. It would be my DH and friends Jim and Nancy, and myself. We would be happy to pay for them if need be. I am thinking of signing up for the FE group 2 and probably other things as well, just have to talk to our friends and see what they are thinking of doing. Sounds like we shouldn't be bored on any of the at-sea days. Besides I plan on relaxing and getting some reading done. We made our own flight arrangements back from Barcelona and we are flying Airlingus and then Jet Blue into Orlando. Can't spend extra time on either side of the cruise because DH doesn't have any extra vacation time. Our flight our of Barcelona is at 10:50 a.m. and when I filled out our on-line registration information they gave me a message saying that flight was too early and I should try to change it because I might not be able to get to the airport in time. After reading several posts here and on the FB page, I feel much better about Disney getting us there on time. I had a few sleepless nights over that message. Anyway, I'll get reading and staying in touch for more information about the activities, but we are very excited and can't wait to meet some of you.

Hi Binnie, only the 2nd time I have ever met a "Binnie" Typically from what i have gathered from many phone calls is DCL recommends noon as the earliest flight time, but if you get off first thing, skip breakfast and be on the first transports out, you should be fine. congrats on getting thru all the threads, I have decided to go backwards! LOL! Lanyards, I do not know anything about these but will probably come across the thread, and if it's too late, that's okay too!

For a Sunday am service, I think it would be pretty neat to have a short service on the beach with some worship songs and a short message. Maybe the ship can help set that up for us.

Please keep us updated on this idea, I think it would be GREAT!

Just wanted to run this by everyone, and see if anyone is interested. Is anyone interested in meeting for a short Bible Study and time of prayer early on the 2 Sundays of the cruise. I am a Baptist preacher, moving to England, and would love to make myself available if anyone was wanting to do this. TWO MONTHS!!! We can't hardly wait.

Two cabins, hopefully close to each other. I just confirmed the roll call sheet. As soon as we know cabin numbers, we will definitely post.

Just started making my FE.... my daughter is the procrastinator... undecided if she wants a nautical theme or not. It will be alot of fun looking at all the FE's.

I LOVE looking at the different FE's and door decorations. Get's me out exercising too, LOL!

So what is the decision on the secret Mickey exchange? And are there any guidelines for the FE exchange? We signed up for group 2, but not really sure how many, how often etc. And tossing around the SM as well, but there is 3 adults in our cabin, not sure if we all would want to do it or just some of us.
