oh Heather, I had my fingers crossed for you . Perhaps I shouldn't have done that, as my luck wasn't lucky this time around. We are on the ship and going to have a great time :goodvibes

I will miss that she isn't going now, however looking forward to spending some time with my husband.

On another note I had seen you were on my FE list, however you don't have a cabin #, but just says deck 1?? Have you been assigned a cabin yet?

Hopefully everyone will start to list their cabin #'s I hate to have the gifts and then not be able to know where everyone's cabins are. Definately not taking the laptop with me, but will print out the sheets before we sail.

I also think I will put stuff on my calendar in my Ipod which might come in handy.

Oh too does anyone know if we are mailed luggage tags for the port or are they somewhere to print online? I just wondered because I had previously been told I should have received a welcome packet when the cruise was booked and I never got anything. Just hope I don't miss anything else that is supposed to be mailed.

Sorry for missing your post! I'll put in our stateroom numbers on the spreadsheet. I was being hopeful for an upgrade before, but I'm living in reality now ;)

Hi!:wave2:

Thanks for your offer to handle the book exchange but David & Adele have already offered to handle this for the group. They will also be the location for the DIS UPDATE white board. They are in cabin #6092.

A reminder for anyone new to our cruise to go to the first page of this thread and then to the spreadsheet. Clicking on "Events Description" gives a good overview of things that DISers have planned for the group. Once a week, I click on each topic to see if there are any updates and it also gets me excited to see how close we're getting!!

Sorry--didn't mean to step on any toes!:goodvibes Thanks, David and Adele!

We got our room!!! Not that it has made me any wiser.

We have been allocated 8542 is this a cat 4? Also and most importantly is it a white wall varandah as I really didnt want one of these!

Thanks for your help, I am useless at this cruise planning!

I'm definately able to accomplish more now! Good luck!!! I'll send pixie dust your way as it passed right over our head!

Thank you, I sure can use some of your pixie dust!! I will check tomorrow, then again the day after tomorrow...somebody stop my OCD already :lmao:

Hey everyone...I found out I got a deluxe oceanview, midship, level 2. I have never been below level 5 but the CM I talked to on the phone said that it is very steady and quiet there, being so low and in the middle.

Anyone ever stay in that part of the ship? Let me know how it was!!

If you are in 8542 you are midship cat 4 with full glass verandah. You have a FANTASTIC room!!

of course you are! LOL, I just didn't want the creepy two portholes, guess that is deck 1 not deck 2.

Easy there!! They left me with the creepy two portholes! I don't mind deck one, but I'm not looking forward to the lesser light through such small portholes. I've always cruised with floor to ceiling glass, I need my natural light to fuction and feel normal. Last year on our Med., it seems as though they moved up most everyone from deck 1 to deck 2 and gave out the deck 1 staterooms to staff. Doesn't look as though they are going to do that this year. You roll the dice and move your mice.....

Hoping they finish up before the weekend so that you can have your number and have a restful weekend! :goodvibes
