Hi All,
This is my latest project for all (our) DIS members going on the Cruise.

I wanted to make it a suprise but due to the lack of info most folks have provided I need
real first name
Home town city and state.
This is not as big as it looks. Picture the pocket of a mans shirt this picture fits great right in it's center..

As I do not know how supplies will last, i'd like to keep it to just the DISer's who have been posting on this board. I think there are only about 19. We will see.
Now some of you know why I've been asking for first names.

Looking at what we are taking it looks like we will make it with 4 suitcase's I did ask DH if we should take 5 just in case he said NO in a big way. He said why so you can fill it for the way home. Why not.

But if you don't bring a fifth one he will cry more when you have to buy one. we have quite a few odds and ends cheap bags..
hint.. we usually bring a mid size duffle, put all the shoes, swin stuff in it and when going home put the shoes and stuff back in it and (if it will fit, all the laundry) thus leaving extra room in the other cases....

We are thinking about putting a small duffle bag in the suitecase for the way just in case. That is if DH will still let me.

We usually travel with a duffle and then a couple of "normal" suitcases too. Amazing the way you can stuff things into the duffle style bags!

I got an e-mail from my travel company....My docs are enroute thru DHL. Is that different from everyone else?

I got my Doc's thru UPS but I also booked with DCL. They said they always ship 3 day UPS to the US travelers.

I have to do the happy dance Since we have only one week.This time next week we will be in the air. I must say this is going to fun and long. I am so ready and I still have to wait 7 days hugh....hey that it will fly once the weekend gets here.

We booked through our travel agent so we actually went to the agent on Saturday and picked up the documents. We didn't book through DCL.

We booked thru Dreams Unlimted and the docs arrived via UPS.

Hey, everyone. Found this thread thanks to scottie. Two days ago we were in the middle of a late-spring rut, and got an email from our travel agent regarding last-minute Florida resident rates for the 5/13 cruise. My wife, who is typically the fiscally responsible one in the family, says -- "let's do it". I laughed and shrugged her off, certain she was just kidding. But then I looked up at her and she had a look of slightly maniacal wild abandon that is normally reserved for activities that don't involve spending money.

Well, seizing the opportunity, I went into high gear and re-structured my work appointments and shoved them all out of the way of that week. We emailed our DD7's teacher to find out about schoolwork to do for that week, and the 4 of us (including DD3, for whom this will be the first cruise) are booked.

Haven't done anything this spontaneous in quite awhile, and it feels good. In less than 2 weeks we'll have been to Nassau, Castaway Cay, and enjoying our day at sea? Fantastic, and exactly what our family needed at this point.

Until then, looking forward to "anticipating" with the rest of you, and eager for any tips/hints about maximizing our Wonder experience.

Where was it again that we were going to meet? I know it was 3pm but where? I will be there for sure. Hopefully my son will be napping though. My goal is to get to the room at 1:30 and have him take a nap. No nap=hell for me. So if he is still sleeping, I will come without him or my mom.

What are we going to do withour selves after the 17th of May??? Plan another trip?

A Dis reunion ship. Well ok is sounds good. But yes start planning our next big thing. I will be lost with having something to plan. Boy has this kept me busy. My husband says he will have his house wife back.

Rejobako- Welcome!!!! This is the first time that I have actually booked a cruise 1.5 years out. Usually, we do what you did!!!!

I have my documents!!!!!!! It is official!!!!! WOW. I know it isn't mcuh but it made me so happy. Especially the luggage tags. ( Although I had hoped for an upgrade).

Like magic she will be getting a credit back on her card of $1000.00. Yep, you read that right a $1000 savings!

Hey I want to get in on that 1000.00 back. Lets see drinks on the boat. Sounds great to me. Maybe they should come up wiht total stress out mom rates. I am sure those rooms will fill up fast. And off the subject but how many times do I have to tell them do your homework.

I got my spending money today and am hoping that I get my surplus back from the mortage company soon. I need to pay the mortage before we leave other wise I need someone to do it for me while I am gone. Hugh.....I am always waiting on something.
