So I'm home.

Honestly at this point, we still don't know anything. The doctor ordered about 15 more tests, and one of my veins gave out so they had to stick me twice.

I am tired but just took two Excedrins because I want to feel good for tonight.

She doesn't think it is Lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis because both of those tests came back (-). She ordered them again, though just to rule them out for sure.

I guess at this point we are in aholding pattern and are just looking at each lab test when it comes in.

Thanks so much for your prayers and thoughts.

I hope everyone is having a good day.

Shelly, the boys are precious as usual.:)

JC~ You found me, huh????;) Ah, the rants of a mom with three children home from school. Ha ha.

I am going to try to post pics of my pumpkin. All I got last night was the glow from the candle, but you'll get the idea.;)

DMM~ How's the babe?

Huggie, you know, I keep thinking about that recipe. What do you normally serve with it? I made linguine noodles with parmesean and had a salad and homemade rolls. wasn't sure what to do with it, really.

Ya'll are gonna love it.

Sulley~ Hope you make it home okay tonight!

Jo

Just an FYI, a very good friend of ours was having the same symptoms. His Dr. thought maybe it was Lupus. Came back negative also. All these tests were taken to find the source....nothing (which as we all know is the worst when they can't find out any answers to why). So a shot in the dark he decided to go see a herbalists, naturalist something of that sort. Come to find out the mercury from his tooth fillings were leaking into his blood stream and slowly poisoning him! :sad2:

Good to hear that they're ruling things out and double checking

More prayers and thoughts with you Jo .

I made it home safely from the vineyard....It was really interesting, the owner took us out through the actual vineyard with his tractor and trolley and explained the differences between some of the grapes they grow. We got to taste Edelweiss berries, which are a secondary crop of Edelweiss grapes, they aren't used in wine making but are very yummy :)

Then the director of sales and marketing took us through the production process and showed us all of that equipment. I didn't do any tasting because I was quite tired (I had to get up at 3AM for work) and had an hour drive to get back home afterwards and didn't want to risk being tipsy on top of that......Besides, I had my fill of alcohol consumption for the next three months Saturday night :drinking1

Choir is just a block away, so I'll walk there like always....:rolleyes1 La la la la la :rolleyes1

Am I the first one on this morning??? Aren't I always???:happytv:

Happy November 1st!!!!:goodvibes

Okay, so tell me about your night. I have a few highlights, so I'll start:

First of all, I have to tell you all that I have an intense fear of a few things in my life. One is Tornadoes. Can't even look at them on tv without tearing up, getting panicky. Okay, we're in PA, so that's not a worry.
:rotfl:

Anyway, the other thing I am deathly afraid of: Michael Myers and the whole Halloween movie along with it's music. I absolutely pale when I hear that music score!!!

I'm serious. I panic when I hear it. So, we get the kids ready, out the door I go to take them next door. YAY! CANDY!!!

Next stop, down to the corner to a favorite teacher's house. Oh, listen, Mary Cat, I say to her, they are playing spooky music. Loud. I mean, you could hear it down the street ( we all have outdoor speakers in this neighborhood).
As we round the corner, Halloween the Movie music starts. I panic. I'm looking around for a safe place to hide. Seriously. Like I was Jamie Lee Curtis in the closet or something. I look left, there are children running around, laughing. I look right. More children, having a good old time.
JUST LIKE IN THE BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE.:scared1: You all have seen it. You know what i'm talking about.

I couldn't move. And Drew says Mom, what is wrong, it's only music. Yes, but you don't understand, my Boy.

Anyway, all was fine. I got over it. The music ended and I was happy.

Jo

UNTIL...
Later on in the night, we were on the front porch and they started that freakin' CD all over again. Here comes the Michael Myers music. Only this time it's dark and I see a lone figure standing at the end of the street.

Now, we are just starting to wind down. There aren't many little kids out. I kind of squint, looking, the music's playing...I'm looking. Holy S!#T!

It's Michael Myers. Seriously. I am not kidding. Mask on, black clothes, the jacket.
He comes striding up the street, keeping in time to the music. Oh crap, that music. Will it ever stop??????????

I jump up screaming, throw the candy bowl at Mark and go running into the house like I am a girl. Oh wait. I am a girl. I slam the door, lock it, and realize I m an awful mother because... I LEFT MY CHILDREN OUTSIDE WITH MICHAEL MYERS.

Oh. My. God.

Mark knows of my irrational fears. He has lived with them for quite some time. Do you think he came to my rescue? Do you think he tried to save me from the terror of Michael Myers? Um, no.

He laughed.

So, to wrap it up, I will say that i am celebrating today not being dead at the evil hands of Michael Myers.

JoBird... Who stared evil in the face and lived to tell the tale.

Morning everyone!

Jo- That Michael Meyers story was too funny! The pics are adorable.

Jordan's daycare was not doing anything for Halloween, so I did not get him a costume. I totally regretted that decision when I saw all of the little kids out in thier costumes :sad1: . Next year, he will be in regular daycare and have a totally awesome costume. We still had fun though, I had bought him a halloween basket and filled it up for him. We stayed in and made caramel corn and watched a movie.

Hi everyone  it was a busy night last night and DH took the kids trick or treating! Everyone had fun :) I love looking at all the pictures! I'm soo slow getting photos up!!
