Later on in the night, we were on the front porch and they started that freakin' CD all over again. Here comes the Michael Myers music. Only this time it's dark and I see a lone figure standing at the end of the street.

Now, we are just starting to wind down. There aren't many little kids out. I kind of squint, looking, the music's playing...I'm looking. Holy S!#T!

It's Michael Myers. Seriously. I am not kidding. Mask on, black clothes, the jacket.
He comes striding up the street, keeping in time to the music. Oh crap, that music. Will it ever stop??????????

I jump up screaming, throw the candy bowl at Mark and go running into the house like I am a girl. Oh wait. I am a girl. I slam the door, lock it, and realize I m an awful mother because... I LEFT MY CHILDREN OUTSIDE WITH MICHAEL MYERS.

Oh. My. God.

Mark knows of my irrational fears. He has lived with them for quite some time. Do you think he came to my rescue? Do you think he tried to save me from the terror of Michael Myers? Um, no.

He laughed.

So, to wrap it up, I will say that i am celebrating today not being dead at the evil hands of Michael Myers.

JoBird... Who stared evil in the face and lived to tell the tale.

You have no idea how bad I needed that laugh tonight!!! Thank you!!

QOD - Where it a good place to watch Illuminations? And still be able to get right out of the park afterwards??? Being that we have never been at Epcot past 7:00, how does that work with Future World closing? Do you have to watch Illuminations from World Showcase?

I have watched Illuminations at Mexico we sit by the counter service and enjoy Illuminations there also we have been by Italy and watched it. Both great places. The only thing is that it is a long walk to the exits. With future world closed you still go thru the main entrance. It doesnt affect it all.

Thanks for the info Huggie! So can you watch it from Future World then to be closer to the exits? Or is that not a good viewing location?

Morning All.... how is everyone doing today??? me i'm back at work (boo for me) but atleast now i get to sit down and actually look and finalize my ADR's.

For Illuminations, we like to go to the opposite side of the water, over to one of the bridges between France and the UK(?) I think. Near where the boats are that can take you to MGM and the Boardwalk.

Anyway, while this is not optimal for crowds during the fireworks, it is beautiful there. Then, afterwards, we find a bench and sit for a bit.

When the crowd has died down, we walk counterclockwise (yes, it is a long walk, but one of the absolute most beautiful times to be in the parks). There is no one around. No one. It has cleared out and you hear and see so many beautiful things that you miss while fighting your way through the crowds.

It is relaxing, the kids can walk freely and it's just one of my favorite things to do.
It kind of is a way for us to decompress after such a long day.

There is some speculation going on in another thread that all the 7:00 MK closings in MAY are possibly going to be for the Pirate & Princess Party.

That sounds like a good idea. You miss the crowds and enjoy the view. you're on vacation anyway so why would you want to go home early.... maybe i'll follow your advise this year... thanks Jo.

The pics came out great. I was very happy. I didnt order christmas cards though I am really hoping for a great pic at disney.

No plans for the weekend. The girls have dance tomorrow morning. That is it.
