Morning everyone :)

Howdy! Thanks for the welcome! I really like this group as well, I love how everyone is so caring. Speaking of which, I am praying for your little boy. I know how difficult it is when something is not right with your little one. I am going through a similar issue with my Jordan and it is very frustrating as we still have no diagnosis. My baby is extremely bright, has a huge vocabulary, and is the most loving child that you can imagine. But his communication skills are off, I know something is wrong, but no one seems to be able to give him a diagnosis as he excels in all of his evaluations.

Anyhoo, I wanted to tell you to stay encouraged, and that I am praying for you.

Thank you sooo much  i really appreciate it. Every little bit helps and the prayers will be returned for your little one! It's well known here that the MAYers have special powers when we all get together and pray and pixie dust the heck out of it all :)

Why do you have to wait 3 weeks to see the specialist?

They want to give the fluid time to drain itself if it is just fluid and also give him time to get a bit stronger and gain a little weight in case he needs to start a procedure.

Oh yeah, the pin code - here it is - ZXE - only available to Disney Visa Cardholders right now. Will be available to the public in a few days at limited availability!

Oh how I'd love to go!! I better just wait for MAY though. And hope for this January special next year!

DMM & JM ~ Please know that we are all thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. :grouphug: I think a lot of us have been through similar situations at one time or another with our children and we know it is so frightening and confusing to know that there is something wrong but not know exactly what and how to help.

When DS6 was born he couldn't keep any food in him. We just thought it was reflux. After a few trips to the doctor they finally did a test and discovered that he had pyloric stenosis - the muscle between the stomach and the small intestines was nearly closed off and he was basically starving (nearly to death). We were rushed to Pittsburgh for emergency surgery. My baby - 4 weeks old at the time - in surgery. Talk about being terrified! But all went well and after a few more hospital stays he is now the healthiest kid I know!

DS8 on the other hand, he was a very healthy baby and toddler. His problems began in school. I knew there was something wrong, but just couldn't pinpoint it. He would get all worked up over tests and school work, and couldn't focus on anything. He would literally be sobbing at the sight of a test. And his K-teacher and 1st grade teacher were just horrible. They would just punish him for being upset! I knew he wasn't a bad kid, that it was something else. It wasn't until last year in 2nd grade (after we moved to a new school district) that I finally got a teacher to work with me and discover the underlying problem. I always had ADHD in the back of my mind, but also knew that he wasn't hyperactive or disruptive in class - and that's basically what people think of when they think of ADHD. Eventually he was diagnosed by our doctor with ADD. He has an attention deficit problem. He can't focus and gets so easily distracted. After much hard work and help from the doctor and the school he is now getting all A's & B's in third grade. I am so proud of him!

Okay, now that everyone knows my life story :rotfl: I will bring this to a close! Just stay strong and keep praying and you will get an answer eventually.

JC - How CUTE!

No pumpkins here, we really don't get too many trick-or-treaters here, most everyone goes trick-or-treating right after school and no one is home then so we don't do a whole lot for Halloween.

My Halloween is actually going to be spent going to a winery for a class field trip (talk about a hard class ;)) and then going to choir practice :rolleyes1
