One week ago today DH gave me the to the vacation next year. I'm celebrating my one week anniversary! That deserves one dancing banana dude.

Dh made the coffee this morning, and although I've only had one cup, it was equivalent to 6, due to the caffiene content.

Shelly, how was the CCF?????? Details, please. What about TDS? Buy anything good???

Sulley, the AKV's sound intriguing... I would be so scared to book and then give my money to the person and it fall through, on either of our ends. I am such a scaredy cat.
I know we probably should be buying DVC. We go every year. Sometimes twice a year. Heck. In what I have spent in the past 5 years there, we could've proabably almost paid it off. Maybe one day... I do still have three kids to put through college and two daughters to (hopefully) pay for a wedding for.

Okay, up everyone!

Morning! I agree let the LURKERS come out!!!!

My wife is enjoying her job at Disney. She has another castmember meeting on Monday for new hires. They spend quite a bit of time going over their philosophy and expectations of their people.

Yes they do, the meetings are soo informative and yet still fun I miss being a cast member! It was some of the best times of my life!! HOpe your wife is having a blast!

Okay, just an observation...

Anyone ever watched the views/post count on this thread? Seems that we got some lurkin' goin on in here!

Just out of curiosity, I decided to keep a note of the views/posts. Hey, I'm a counter, what can I say?

Anyway, starting Thursday when I got up:
there were 11,109 posts and 86,892 views.

On Friday, that number had jumped to 11,152 posts and 87,385 views.

This morning, it was at 11,175 posts and 87,660 views. After my first post this morning, the views jumped to 87,673!!

So in 3 days we were viewed 781 times. I know that isn't just from us...

We're popular, ya'll!

I'm trying to talk DH into going to the world next May, but he wants to go to Japan! Of course, well you know my response to that!

Hello MAYers! Just thought I'd pop in between church and soccer. Today's the last soccer game. And it's only supposed to reach a high of 48. At least the sun is out , at the moment anyway!


The CCF was pretty good. I think it's a little overpriced though! My sandwich was good. DH had fish and said it was okay. We got the brownie sundae cheesecake, very good! Walked through the mall for awhile. The only store we bought anything at was the Disney Store! Got us each a shirt for the next trip and got the kids a few Christmas gifts! We had a nice time!

I have never ridden Mission:Space. I am too chicken!!! Hope to remedy that in about a year or so.

Also, never been on the HM and have never seen IllumiNations! Can you believe it???
Never gone on Mission Space either.

If you're a collector or admirer of Teddy Bears and Dolls, this is a wonderful event to attend. Over 30 of the most recognized bear/doll artists are there to display their creations. At past events, Steiff, Precious Moments, Engel Puppen, Vogue Dolls were among the companies participating.

The World Showcase Pavilion in Epcot is where the festivities take place. During the course of the weekend the following is scheduled:

1 day Epcot Park Admission
1 day "After 4pm" admission on May 18

I've never rode the mountains....any of them....BIG chicken here! I hope to remedy that at least as far as Splash and BTMRR, you ain't getting this girl on Space Mountain.

Oh that's another one I never rode - Splash Mountain!! I just hate walking around wet all day ! DS8 and I have a plan to ride it right before we leave to go back to the resort.

Sulley ~ you can totally do BTMRR!! It is not scary or that fast - I promise! I even got DH (who hates coasters) on it!!
