NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

So could the $25 off from Shop Rite be used to buy only a Disney gift card?

No, the $25 can't be used on gift cards (see below). In some states the other items prohibited by law include eggs.

(excludes prescription medications, gift cards, postage stamp sales, milk, cigarettes, fuel, tobacco products, alcoholic beverages or any other items prohibited by law).

What was advertised is not sold in Sam's Club Warehouses.
It specifically advertised eGift cards at the price of $180 limited to 4 per membership.
I am glad people were able to get the physical cards in store for the $180 as well but that was not what was advertised.
I don't have a Sam's close, so I've never been in person, but I did see pictures in FB groups that the cards were being advertised in store at the doorbuster price.

Giftcards.com has a free $10 giftcards.com gift card when buying $100 in Visa, Mastercard, or One4All gift cards. The Visa and Mastercard have a $5.95 fee and can only go up to $250 so I don't know if that is worth it (it isn't to me). However, the One4All Ultimate might be worth it since you can also get 5% back from BeFrugal and if you check out using paypal, you can activate a 5% cash back offer from paypal.

Important: You can't pay any part of the payment with a giftcards.com gift card since you are getting a giftcards.com gift card.

This is what I was going to say. They were advertised in store.

Good to know they had signage indicating it was on sale in some locations. My sam's didn't have such signs nor honor the $180 price.

I was referring to the actual advertisement that sent in the mail and specifically mentioned eGift cards.

@eticketplease And then some clubs, like ours, didn't have signage but DID ring up the DB price 🤦‍♀️ It definitely seemed like Sam's didn't fully prepare this one. Poor rollout of cards not yet active on DGC.com, rollout that conflicted with published flyer (Plus availability the night before), inconsistent store protocal, etc. Oh well, we got what we needed, so no real complaint, but it sure wasn't a smooth process.

Yes, I have always felt that if a store has a sale on something and only has a limited amount of items at the sale price, they need to be very clear what the limits are and then enforce them. It accomplishes nothing for the store if one person is able to buy 10 and then there is nothing left for other people to buy. (well, it actually accomplishes that many people won't shop that store again, doing the exact opposite of what a sale is supposed to do.)

Sam's Club closed the two warehouses that were close to me years ago, so I let my membership drop. When I heard about the $200 cards for $180 deal on here, I decided to get a new membership so that I could take advantage of the deal. On Saturday, I signed up for a membership and got all my welcome emails, etc. Then I went on the Sam's Club website and ordered 4 of the gift cards. I got the order confirmation with the order number and my credit card was charged the $720 and I said "mission accomplished".

Last night at 11:45. Sam's Club sent me an email that said:
"Your recent order was canceled. Unfortunately, your order was canceled. You won't be charged for it."

I am going to call today and tell them tell them to cancel my other order... the one for a membership!😡

So what do we think the odds are that giftcards.com will have Disney gift cards on sale before 11/30? Looks like last year I bought some but it was in December. I have a 5% back offer there on 2 of my chase cards so I was hoping for Disney soon. Most of the restaurants and AMC on the all4one card I can usually get just as well or better from their own sites for the holidays.

I don't know, but one thing to remember is that giftcards.com only sells physical Disney gift cards so even if they have a sale, part of your savings will be eaten up by the shipping fees.

Thanks! I had a feeling that would be the case.

My brother ordered for me on his acct yesterday and also got the canceled order email. The charges are still pending on my Amex.
My first order for two cards were cancelled last night. I immediately placed another order (the cancelled charge fell off my cc). I just got a call from Sam's Club wanting to confirm I purchased two Disney Gift Cards for $360. She also confirmed my email address (I gave her nothing, she had the information and I said it was correct). Oddly she asked if I planned to purchase anymore. I said not this time. Hopefully they will show up now...
