Marcy, I keep forgetting to ask you if you were at the Crystal Palace on the 15th because we didn't see you? We were seated clear over on the left side by the window.

I looked and looked for you at the CP on the 15th, but I couldn't see you. We were on the right side when you walk into the restaurant. We were actually the first table off the lobby. The characters stopped at our table first . We had a really nice time there, and breakfast was great! Here are a few photos (sorry they are so big!):

I look awful in every picture this trip: Florida does nothing for my hair!

I know, decisions decisions. . . . . I would just hate to try something else and be wishing I were in Disney the whole time!! And you're right, the whole ariport/airfare thing is the pits!! But we could never drive to FL with our kids!! Even 7-8 hours to VA is going to be a challenge!

I have the habit of comparing everything to Disney too. We used to go to Ocean City Maryland every summer for a few days (like 4 or 5) but it is so expensive down there! For what we spent for a long weekend, we could have done Disney for a whole week!! Now I tend to compare prices for every trip! In fact, this trip to San Francisco DH and I are taking is costing MORE than our Disney trip, and we're only going to San Fran for 4 nights!

So, I know we'll probably end up back in Disney next year...it's just a good value for us!

Oh yes. Huggie, I am so jealous, I could just spit. I told DH you were going and he said "Well, book one." and I know he was half-heartedly appeasing me. So, no trips yet planned. I am still holding out hope for January, though. I want to pick the kids up from school one day and just drive to the airport without them knowing. I'd never be able to keep it a secret!

Hum, Oh yeah! Lake! What part of Arkansas is your DH going to? I lived there until this past January myself. We lived in Northwest AR, home of Wal-Mart. Not much there except, well, Wal-mart and chickens and cows. I have very dear friends left there, so I am a bit jealous of you maybe going there. (Never thought I'd hear that come out of my mouth.)

Marcy, you are too cute. Your boys are adorable, too. Looks like it was fun.

Shelly, thanks for the link. Are you going? We won't be here! We are leaving for our vacation to go (sigh) home! Charleston, here I come! We leave this Sunday. Dh is staying behind until the weekend before the fourth then he will join us. I am so ready to be in the hot, hot, hot weather. Can't wait for the beach. I am going to park my butt in the sand and not move for days. Someone pass me a cold drink, I am headed South!

Lake - Blytheville is a bit desolate, very rural. It would make Bentonville look like a metropolis. I am not even sure what is there. What company would your DH be visiting? I think it may be an hour or hour an half from Memphis. It is near the Missouri border in NE AR and not too far from the Mississippi River.

I made a new post to my trip report. We have made it to Epcot but are not inside the park yet.

I think my next installment will include where I meet a MAYer!

Yep- he said there may not be much there.
His company also has a contract with Walmart- and provides all the structural support beams needed to build all the future Walmart construction. So more trips to Arkansas.

Hey JO! Have fun in Charleston!! My dad & step-mom went there last year. Will you still be there in mid-July? That thing at Station Square is JULY 21. Just checking, thought maybe you thought it was June 21. We will probably end up going unless something comes up!
