Hello everyone!!

So, I have been talking to Dh about Disney again. I want to go in December. He said there is a very good chance of us going. So tomorrow I am going to make the adr's(just in case). I want to go Dec 8th-Dec 14th.

Has anyone gone in December? I love christmas and would love to see it Disney style.

Christmas is an AMAZING time to visit! I was lucky enough to finally get there December 2005. All my life I wanted to visit during the Holidays. If you can, carve out some time on your trip to "hotel hop". The hotels all have their own unique way of decorating and it's beautiful. There is an entire program on the Travel network dedicated to Christmas at Disney. Keep an eye out for it if you haven't seen it already. It gives you lots of ideas of things to keep an eye out for and info about how the parks and resorts are decorated. Hope you get to go,Have fun!

We all LOVED our first trip *way* back in May ( ). WE are ready to go back! We hope to go in May '09.....I know I can't book now, but I am *dying* to start planning, lol. Any tips on what I can start doing now? I am not so sure we can wait a full two years before our return, but that is our plan anyway. Thanks for all the help you all have given me already!!!

Hi everyone! went to DL yesterday and got a DREAM!

He got to ride the new Finding Nemo Submarines! The ride does not officially open until tomorrow, so was especially excited to be one of the privileged few.

This DREAM, has made even more snootrified!

New Crew- so DH's new job is often going to take him to Arkansas.
I'll have to get tips from you on what there is for him to see and do while there.
He said that when he has longer stays there, and other trips the kids and I can sometimes come too.

NewCrew - Hope you had a wonderful anniversary!

Huggie - I am so jealous that you may be going to Disney in December!!!!! That was our original week we had planned to go this year. Until we decided we couldn't wait that long!! Will you still be going in May 2008 also?

Lake - We may be joining you May 2009. . . Not sure. . . I know I said we decided on May 2008, but we are AGAIN unsure. . . We keep going back and forth on it. We LOVE Disney and know how great it is, but are thinking of trying something different next year. Thinking about Williamsburg VA and Busch Gardens and Virginia Beach. We could drive there in 7-8 hours. So we'll see. . . I'm sure we will keep changing our minds between now & then!

So we did it. We are offically going back to Disney Dec 8th-14th. YEAh!! I booked my adr's today. We are staying onsite this time, which is a first for us.

Here are my ADR's

Dec 9th Crystal Palace Breakfast 8:05am
Dec 10th Ohana Dinner 6:30
Dec 11th Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch 2pm
Dec 12th Princess Storybook Breakfast 8:30am

So now I need my fellow mayers help. I cant decide on whether to stay at POP or Caribbean Beach. Can you guys help?

We've looked into the Disney cruise, but I'm not sure we want to go that route (although it is more family friendly), because again, we'd need to get airfare to FL. Ah, decisions decisions!!

Shelly, we had considered Williamsburg for next summer too. One of these years maybe! (and I'm dying to head out west, to the Grand Canyon, but I'm thinking that might be in a few years when I don't have to worry about my youngest jumping.... .... )

I say Caribbean Beach ALL THE WAY!!!!! We loved this resort. We found ourselves wishing we were there the whole time we were at POFQ!!

I know, decisions decisions. . . . . I would just hate to try something else and be wishing I were in Disney the whole time!! And you're right, the whole ariport/airfare thing is the pits!! But we could never drive to FL with our kids!! Even 7-8 hours to VA is going to be a challenge!

Marcy, I keep forgetting to ask you if you were at the Crystal Palace on the 15th because we didn't see you? We were seated clear over on the left side by the window.

Marcy- DH feels the same way about crusing. He wants to leave out of NY, but you get stuck at sea for awhile before getting to a port. We are planning a cruise for next year too probably Disney. Although I love Royal Caribbean.

CBR is so awesome!! It is big though, so be prepared to walk if you decide to stay here! It is spread out like little villages around a huge lake. We requested and got Jamaica. It was a perfect location and is not considered preferred. Just a 5 minute walk across the bridge to the pool and food court and restaurant and gift store. Aruba is right next to Jamaica and would be another good location. The walk across the bridge and island is beautiful. I have lots of pictures I can post for you!

We have talked about a cruise next year too since it is our 10th anniversary, but I haven't priced them yet. A Disney cruise would definitely be the way to go for families but I hear they are pretty pricey!

CBR is so awesome!! It is big though, so be prepared to walk if you decide to stay here! It is spread out like little villages around a huge lake. We requested and got Jamaica. I have never stayed at the Caribbean, and would someday like too, but I just wanted to add that our family really loved POP Century. It was fun, and great for younger kids. You all know that I had originally wanted to do a moderate but changed for the rest of our group, but DH and I both have said we would do POP again.
The bus service was great, and I found it to be really centrally located, 10 minutes was the most it took us to MK, and MGM, is just 2 minutes away.
The kids loved the kiddie pool and the goofy splash pad- although I'm not sure you would use them in December.

No matter where you stay- you really can't go wrong now can you.
